The day I received my phone case I put on and notice it didn’t fully cover the screen edge of the right side of my phone. Next day I dropped my phone and now the entire back of my phone is shattered. I had my phone in my hands it wasn’t a big fall at all. This case is costing me a new phone (: last time I ever get velvet caviar. My $5 thin hard case protected better than this expensive low quality case. I was so excited and now I never want to use a velvet caviar case again.

Velvet Caviar is selling products that are knowingly defective. Their phone grips have faulty pins in them that will purposely break after a number of uses. They will then not take them back, and force you into purchasing a new one that will ultimately break as well. Forcing you into a cycle of purchasing knowingly faulty rings. This is a common problem reported by many users on many platforms. However, their reviews on their website miraculously don't mention it and only show positive reviews. They are clearly either using bots to write reviews or deleting anything negative. Everyone of their phone grips have a 5 star review or very close on their website and do not mention the faulty pins. However, if you go to their products on other platforms like Target or Best Buy they have terrible reviews and all mention the faulty pins. This has clearly been brought up to the company that their phone grips knowingly break but they are purposely choosing the planned obsolescence in an attempt to make more sales. Of course, you also cannot talk to a real person for customer service. The fact that they have a F rating on the Better Business Bureau says something.

I placed an order with Velvet Caviar on 8 September and paid $88.50 USD in total, including $48.77 for the charger, $24.98 for shipping and £14.75 in taxes. The order was supposedly shipped, but the tracking has essentially gone nowhere. The tracking number (GM9C658FC5F31342CDBBBA) has shown the parcel at the initial DHL processing stage in Salt Lake City since 9 September, with no meaningful movement or further tracking updates. It has now been around 15 days with no indication that the parcel has actually progressed through the shipping network. I contacted Velvet Caviar and submitted a formal complaint requesting a full refund because of the lack of movement and the circumstances surrounding the shipment. Unfortunately, I have been completely ignored. At this point, I am having to liaise with Clearpay to have the order cancelled and my money returned. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I paid a substantial amount for shipping and expected the order to actually be dispatched and tracked properly. I understand that international shipping can experience delays, but this goes beyond simply being patient with an international delivery, the tracking has barely progressed, and the company has failed to respond to a formal complaint. I would strongly recommend that Velvet Caviar improve its communication and customer service when orders experience shipping problems. Customers should not have to involve their payment provider just to get a response or resolution.

first time order, cases are great. fast shipping. 2nd time order, they just GHOSTED me, NO tracking, NO updates, charged my card. I've reached out on their INSTA, customer service emails, nothing. It's been over 7 TOTAL days since i've placed the order. Nothing. i would not recommend again if this is how they treat ongoing customers

I absolutely love my Apple phone case from Velvet Caviar. I chose the Fall Snoopy case. The colors are very rich and lovely. I also like how it fits so nicely on my phone. I get compliments now and then from my friends too. The case stays on my phone so well, but at the same time isn’t hard to remove if needed. All the buttons work great too.

Be cautious with their shipping timelines. They advertise 48-hour shipping upfront, but after taking your money, you find out via their support page that they have an ongoing delay of over 7 days. This delay warning should be visible before placing the order so customers can make an informed choice. Order 143739829 is still pending with zero updates. Very disappointing experience and lack of transparency.
