Doesn't work. Cant believe BA doesn't realise

The App is not fit for purpose, doesn't accept my NHS Covid certificates

VeriFly is useless "It Does Not WORK" plain and simple

Does not recognise QR code from or downloaded Fit to Fly certificate from an authorised private healthcare company. Had to wait for manual authorisation from Verifly which defeats the whole purpose of the app..

Given the much hyped trans-atlantic partnership of BA, AA, Iberia & Finair, it is crazy that verifly doesn't support bookings that contain flights operated by the partner airlines. (In my case a BA booking containing AA outward flight UK to USA, and BA return flight to the UK). App crashed when I then attempted to submit a support request to verifly. One positive - the selfie step was easy using Android 11 phone. (EDITED to add - apparently there is a different booking ref for the partner airline legs. In my case when I followed seat selection on the BA website, I'm given a new booking ref to use to login to the AA website to select my seat, this new ref is what is needed in verifly)

App is useless. I only wasted my time. I'm supposed to get a negative test within 72 hours of the first leg of my trip, which I did (it's within 63 hours); however, it is within 73 hours of my last flight, which is the international flight, so the app doesn't accept my test. Because American Airlines refuses to let you check in without having your information on this app, I can't check in. I tried calling them and that was also useless. Don't make us use an app that does not work!

Could i give this zero stars? I have to use this app weekly and EVERY SINGLE TIME it rejects my vaccine certificate, which I have to submit usually three more times (THE SAME CERTIFICATE) before it is accepted. It says that it cannot confirm my first name but I am guessing that is because Dutch vaccine certificates list people's INITIALS rather than full first names. AAARGH.
