My experience with Virtustant was…
My experience with Virtustant was extremely disappointing. I hired Virtustant expecting a reliable virtual assistant and professional support if any issues arose. Unfortunately, within the first two weeks, it became clear that my assistant was not meeting even basic expectations. I intentionally reduced her workload to better evaluate the time required for the tasks, yet she continued reporting nearly the same number of hours. This raised serious concerns about the accuracy of her time reporting and ultimately caused me to lose trust. I communicated these concerns to Virtustant and requested a replacement. Instead of focusing on resolving the issue, I spent over two weeks going back and forth with different people, repeating the same explanations. After waiting all that time, I was ultimately informed that they would not provide a replacement because my position was considered too small to justify their investment. This was particularly frustrating because I never asked for a 5–10 hour position. The workload was temporarily reduced only because the assistant was underperforming. Despite explaining this multiple times, that distinction was overlooked. To their credit, they adjusted the final invoice after reviewing the reported hours. However, that does not change the fact that I lost valuable time, received poor customer service, and was left without the support I had paid for. What disappointed me most was not the assistant’s performance—it was how the situation was handled. I expected accountability and a reasonable solution. Instead, I was left feeling that my concerns were dismissed. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Virtustant to businesses that value responsiveness, accountability, and long-term client relationships.
