Literally sitting in the restaurant placing my order. When the waitress calls my order, one of the cooks who did my drop is sitting here on his phone while handling. The perk is he had a glove on the hand that didn’t have the phone. However, he proceed to keep rubbing his mouth and mustache with his wrist that the glove was on. On top of that, he just finally put his phone in his pocket and then gloved up without washing his hands. I know this happens more often than not but people are generally better at hiding it.

I had ordered for selection after the booth table was cleared and cleaned.. I was drinking my water and sipping my coffee when approached by a Employee Waffle House Restaurant HWY #4 GOLDROCK NC 27809 to relocate to another seat( single seat) since the booths needed to be saved for family customers.. as I looked around the restaurant, several seats @ counter and 2 booths were open and incoming customers were sitting @ open booths and counter seats.. I pointed this fact out to the employee and still requested to vacate booths for a single seat.. the customers @ the booths located beside mine witnessed the situation and was indicating by eye contact and verbal contact with each other they did not agree with the employee's statement to me.. They left without finishing their meal and verbally told me as they passed my booth they would not be coming back to this Waffle House location for future patronage. ( neither will i).. I was angered by the situation and requested my order to go !.. also no lemons @ this restaurant location continuously ..this is the South.. people expect lemon slices for water and tea orders. Geez.

We walked in at 4:30 in the morning and every table was filthy. There was only one paying customer and a couple who were clearly friends with the people working here. Even after she cleaned the table, we wiped off the residual water using the white napkins on the table and they came away scuzzy brown. There was a large spill behind the counter on the floor that they continue to walk through. She had to call out a order several times because the cook was clearly not paying attention. When the meal came she forgot to give us syrup for the waffles or silverware. Then we had to call her back a 3rd time for the glass of milk I ordered. Then we found the spoons dirty and had to ask for a knife for the butter. While their banter is typical Waffle House banter, lively and punchy, there was a lot of middle finger giving and cussing. Granted there are no small kids around at the moment but still... So, in the end the girls were extremely friendly as was the cook and during the time we were there they diligently went to work cleaning the store up. I don't know if it was because the one girl noticed I was writing this review while we were waiting on our meal (yeah I know, that was kind of rude but I knew I wouldn't do this later. We were only in there at that time in the morning because our kids are having a baby next door in the hospital And we were killing time.). Maybe there was some kind of rush earlier and they were a shift that had to take over from a previous one and clean it up, I don't know. I'd like to give them a break cuz they all three seem pretty nice and they did get the place cleaned up in the end. Kudos and an extra star for that. 😉

Not sure how many managers hold interviews for positions that have already been filled. But after going through a interview at store #1808 in ashland, ky., to which at the end of the interview Renee had informed me that the positions were filled and they didn't need anyone. She either lied, or misrepresented the job opening. We should not waste employers time and likewise....they should not waste ours.

I order waffle house thru door dash regularly. I've been quite disappointed. Recently where I live they closed all the stores for dine in. It's delivery only. Depending on who's cooking the food is very inconsistent. I always order the same thing. I get wheat toast when I order white. The scrambled eggs always look different - anywhere from 1 to 4 eggs when it's supposed to be 2. My order comes with 3 pieces of bacon. Sometimes I get 2 pieces. Today is the day I've decided I'm done giving them business.

Ate Lunch at 1:30 pm, unit#0952, Yale Ave, ABQ, NM. Ordered the Texas "Bacon" Cheesesteak melt, and after eating 1/2 of the sandwich, I opened the sandwich to discover there was ZERO bacon on my sandwich. I wanted to mention it then to the waitress, but she was constantly busy, talking to another couple dining, who apparently were family or friends, to the point I did NOT want to be rude and interrupt. After I finished, she asked if everything was ok, and I told her, they should change the name to just Cheesesteak melt, as the was NO bacon on my sandwich, nor did I get any pickles shown in the menu picture. She became snotty, rude and condescending, saying I should have said something. I normally LOVE the people and the food at that Waffle House, she changed my opinion by her rude behavior and speech, toward me, a disabled vet, with visible disabilities. Last time I visited that WH, I actually tipped the COOK(Frank) $20, for his sanitary work ethic, I observed. This young, slim Hispanic girl should not represent Waffle House.

Food was awful and extremely overpriced. £14 for a cold breakfast that should be hot

I'm here in Braselton,Ga Spout spring rd 8/12/2023. Service was ok but the food was super cold. Burnt bacon. Bad everytime she cook to order. The main cook was on the phone while cooking
