Worst experience of my life with any business!
I have had, without exception, the worst experience of my life in dealing with a company that builds new websites, and their name is Web Design Glory. Our initial agreement was for me to make an initial down payment of $100, with the balance of $300 at the time the website was given final approval, and completed. I was also told that the website would take no longer than two months. I paid the initial payment of $100 on October 7, 2025, and was asked to make two $100 payments during the time they worked on building the website. I should not have done that, as it was a breach of our initial agreement, but not thinking much about it at the time, I submitted the two payments of $100, as requested. Well, this past week I could still not access my new website on my Firefox browser, even though the company showed it to me on a Zoom call, as well as on a Chrome browser. In addition, they were trying to force me to use a terribly ugly menu format on my mobile version, which I said I would never approve. So, after dealing with this very incompetent team of developers, and their lead person named Aaron, I still didn’t have my website done according to my instructions, and I was constantly correcting the mistakes their developers continued to make. They finally corrected the mobile version amazingly within 24 hours, so I went back and checked every last little detail on their supposedly completed website. They had completely left out the necessary boxes for any customer to fill in their credit or debit card information on the checkout page. UNBELIEVABLE! Beyond all that, the 3D text on my headers were terribly pixelated, and they had never paid any attention to that detail. I demanded a return of the $200 that they had requested before the website was completed, and to take down my website. They totally refused the refund, even after I had pointed out the checkout page and text pixelation issue. I have missed all the major holidays for selling my designs online, so I have no idea how much I have really lost because of their incompetent team of developers, and their lead person named Aaron. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY FOR BUILDING A WEBSITE! DON’T WALK…RUN! I received a call from Web Design Glory this morning, and I just spoke with Jack at WDG. He didn't like my one-star review, and this jerk offered me a $150 bribe if I would take down my review today and sign some kind of agreement with them. I told him he was bribing me, and I don't do business with anyone who tries to bribe me. I told him to "go jump". These people have absolutely no conscience, and I will say again.... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WEB DESIGN GLORY, or do so at your own risk. They are the worst people I have ever done business with in my almost 80 years of living on this planet. Years ago I owned a business for a total of twelve years, without one complaint. Why? because I treated my customers with honesty and respect. That is how I do business, NOT BRIBING! I have read through many pages of your reviews, with one person losing $14,000. That's beyond reprehensible on your part, and I hope that person takes legal action against you. First of all let me give you some wise advice. Go make yourself a sandwich, and take three bites. The first bite is for some HUMILITY; then take a second bite of HONESTY; then take a third bite of TRANSPARENCY. You cost me an unknown amount of income by not having my website done for the MAJOR SELLING SEASONS ONLINE, and then you want me to sign some kind of "agreement". Are you kidding? After you breached your own agreement twice? You could send me a check for $1,000 to make up for my potential lost sales during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now Valentines Day, and i would still NOT take down my review. Why? Because my review is all the honest truth, and nothing but the truth. GO MAKE YOUR SANDWICH! be sure to swallow each bite, and put it into practice. You might just have more customers in the future. If you continue on the same path you are on, then I hope the opposite is true, which it should be. May a word to the wise be sufficient.
Response from Web Design Glory· Feb 27, 2026
Hi Bob, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and unhappiness this circumstance has caused and we are disappointed to hear about your experience. We don't aim to deliver the kind of service you described, which includes delays, technical difficulties, design issues, checkout functionality issues and miscommunications. We acknowledge the importance of your website to your company, particularly during times of high sales and we apologize for any harm that this may have caused. We realize that the mistakes or oversights on the project were entirely unintentional, but this does not make up for the inconvenience you went through. Additionally, we really regret if our most recent outreach was interpreted as a bribe. We never meant to do that. Our only aim was to settle the dispute and come up with a solution that was acceptable. We weren't trying to make things worse for you, and we respect your right to discuss your experience. As a sign of good faith and in acceptance with our agreements, we are willing to process the relevant refund in line with the original agreement. Our aim is to settle this issue in a fair and expert manner. We genuinely appreciate openness and trust from our customers. We value your input and will use it to enhance our procedures, quality assurance and future communication. We would sincerely appreciate the chance to put things right and find a peaceful solution if you are willing to negotiate. Sincerely, Web Design Glory Team.
