Customer Service was very accomadating in resolving the issue with the drain. My disappointment comes from the noise volume. It is much loader than our previous model. The physical appearance of the drain line is very stark.

Hello Jerry, We do apologize if your unit is not as quiet as expected. Depending on your specific cellar size and construction, we do offer the Extreme 3500TI that features a 3 speed blower fan to reduce noise level. Over years of testing we have determined that a drain line is the most reliable way to remove condensate from a self-contained cooling unit.

The replacement unit works well and was delivered on time. The missing information was the change in the model. I ordered the same model but it is different. The previous unit that failed had a drain option either front or back. Now the drain is only on the exhaust side necessitating a hole to be drilled through the wall to connect to where it drained on the cooling side. So that was not mentioned when I ordered it and perhaps should have been mentioned.
