i needed help, things didn’t work out
TLDR: i needed help converting a simple static html site under 50mb into a clean* wp theme quickly (within 24h), it didnt happen and it was no pleasure getting there. + they are being honest (that it was their mistake) + its simple (one click and you get something) + support got back to me within 48h - charging “100% success” delivering 70% working (broken links = 100% success, missing Text = 100% success, missing layout, images, style all 100% success) - its slow (one conversion i needed to let run overnight to end up with another “100% success”, one conversion i stopped after 30 minutes at “0% conversion” thinking it was stuck, i got charged 100% anyway) - buggy (one conversion reported “conversion failed” giving me a “try again” button i clicked and got charged twice) - a 10 minute timer to preview a site (i already paid for) is way too little time to check for all the bugs and is giving me anxiety (i know i can restart the 10 minute timer but why stress me in the first place) - push their own plugin (regardless if you want it or not the plugin is already in your plugin folder and i saw no button to cancel that) - pushing their proprietary buggy editor (i saw no option to stop that and get a *gutenberg style theme yet - but they are working on it) - no option to influence how the AI is generating the theme (besides selecting from which platform you came, here i would like to see a text prompt to prime the AI for possible hurdles or quirks) - despite admitting they were in the wrong and apologizing, i never got a single credit back (…) TBH: I feel AI is not quite there yet, it might be in the future and i hope i can give someone else my perspective on what “AI” can do “right now”. Proof: Yes if you ask for it i gotcha 👍 Overall Feedback: You did good in making your Service easily accessible. I think if you can improve on the billing system and add the block feature and give people more option to decide which features they want baked into their website, it would greatly enhance the user experience. update 12.10.2026: i didn’t get a refund or credits or anything i would like to use but Support made me laugh and for that i give +1 for extra friendliness and honesty (and keeping secrets that actually matter ;) edit: for typo and update 12.10.2026
