Purchased Wyze Cam v3 'cos reviews said it interfaced with Smartthings. It doesn't. (Not without specialist hacking.) Their web site is a complete jumble, rarely allowing you to go to where you need to go. Support Centre is actually Lack of Support Centre which uses a robot to avoid answering any questions at all. Then I learn that I have to buy a subscription in order to look at live feed on my computer from my camera 5 meters away. Phone interface is again a complete jumble.

Today Wyze billed my Visa $14.99 for a service I Did Not order. They have done this 3 times. I have asked more than 4 times during the past 6 months to Stop billing me $1.99 per month - two no avail. This once great company has become a low level poorly managed company resorting to underhanded trickery to stay afloat. Today, I filled a dispute with Visa. Tomorrow FTC, State Attorney General. . . I'm guessing this will be more costly to Wyze than the dollars they're stealing. Others should do the same.

Great concept but TERRIBLE execution. Very unstable software. Way too many updates and revisions. Motion detection is marginal and recording the event usually doesn't start until most of the event has already happened (too slow)... most of the time it misses the face capture because it's too slow. Horrible reliability of network connection. If you like to just waste time "playing" with your tech these will be fine but if you just want your stuff to work reliably, get a different product!!! Wyze should spend less time inventing new worthless gadgets and focus on their primary product otherwyze they'll be out of business soon!!!

I bought a Wyze surveillance camera, and the company constantly prompts me on my phone to buy a monthly subscription, which I don't want to do. It's super annoying. They also recently sent me an email asking customers "to help everyone" by making a contribution to some technology they are developing; in other words, they want the customer to fund their for-profit development as some kind of woo-woo partnership. This is a for-profit company as far as I can tell, so I think, to be competitive, they should find their own funding instead of sending these fake "community oriented" emails. Weird.

Feeling scammed. Ordered Covid tests and status has shown “shipped” for several weeks. I understand that many places have Covid tests on back-order. But here’s what you should know about Wyze… it is difficult to reach anyone for customer service. They have a number you can call but they have very long wait times. Their “hold” recording says to visit their website for live chat support, but this does not exist. When I was finally able to reach someone, they were not able to provide a tracking number for my order. The agent disclosed that he didn’t think the order had actually shipped, based on the call volume from other people who were also complaining. I asked him to cancel my order and to please issue me a refund (they charged my credit card when I placed the order originally). He said they are not allowed to cancel any orders. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he explained that they were told their supervisors don’t want to take any calls about shipping delays. I insisted he transfer me to a supervisor and he put me on hold and then the call promptly disconnected. Shame on me for ordering from this company without doing more research. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t order ANY-thing from them…camera, light bulb or otherwise. My only recourse will be to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Ordered covid tests around December 30, never got them ,don't but anything from this company,I will be disputing this charge with cc company. Will never do business with wyze again.

I started buying Wyze products over two years ago and the home security items in particular and then expanded to light bulbs to the outdoor sprinkler controller but I don't plan to buy any other Wyze products unless I see improved stability. The good news is that it is inexpensive. The bad news is you get what you pay for. Several times software updates have not worked and I've had to manually intervene everything to signing out and back into app, power cycling, flash firmware. Once in a while - no problem. Once a quarter - that is very annoying. I have a Wyze (one of 9 installed) light bulb 15 feet up that just stopped responding and went to bright white color. Of course it happened just before snow started to fly so I probably won't get to it for two more months and I know the drill will require deleting it and re-adding it - it will be an hour chore - 12 ft. ladder out, take out light bulb, etc, etc. Have several other sensors I think I need to do the same with.
