Well developed platform, good managed hosting alternative
Well developed stable platform, feature-rich and very useful for WordPress (hosts other stacks but we don't use them).
Support staff is knowledgeable and fast, but the platform makes us almost never open support requests (we opened perhaps 5 in 1 year).
If you want to consider alternatives to WP Engine, Kinsta, and all the other managed hosts, I'd recommend trying it. We pay for our servers, everything else is set-up by xCloud, so no performance-tax (think of limiting PHP workers), no scaling or visitors tax. Backups, security, email hosting, all we need in 1 place.

I just migrated from Rapyd Cloud…
I just migrated from Rapyd Cloud server/hosting to Vultr on xCloud a few months ago, and I am so happy with my decision. There is literally no comparison across the board! XCloud provides an amazing dashboard, they have a day zero response on security patches, and their customer service goes above and beyond to help! Great hosting solution for semi managed…
Great hosting solution for semi managed VPS! before switching to xCloud we used plesk. xCloud way better and no use of resources on the server. Also very good support!

We’re truly sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience.
Based on the details available to us, we believe this review may be related to a recent support case involving a compromised WordPress site where no clean site backup was available. Since the Trustpilot username does not clearly match an xCloud account, we cannot confirm the exact account publicly, but we still want to address the concern in a transparent way.
We understand how stressful it can be when a WordPress site is compromised. Our team reviewed the issue and tried to assist as much as possible within our support scope. From the information available, the issue appeared to be related to the WordPress application layer, such as a plugin/theme vulnerability, modified WordPress files, suspicious files, or compromised site-level access — not an xCloud platform or infrastructure failure.
xCloud provides the hosting environment, server security layers, monitoring tools, integrity checks, and backup options. However, no hosting provider can guarantee that a WordPress site can never be infected, especially when third-party plugins, themes, custom code, uploads, or WordPress admin access are involved.
Our Integrity Monitor did detect that WordPress core files no longer matched the official checksums. This confirms that site files were modified, but the monitor runs on a scheduled basis and is not a real-time malware prevention engine. We explained this and recommended the safest available recovery path: restoring the site from a clean backup.
Unfortunately, when no clean backup is available, full malware cleanup and root-cause investigation fall outside xCloud’s standard support scope and require a specialized malware cleanup provider. We explained this clearly and offered the best options available from our side.
We’re sorry we could not provide the outcome you expected, but our team did try to guide you honestly and help with the safest possible recovery steps.

xCloud is a great solution for now and the futuire
xCloud is not only a great hosting provider but one that is future-proofing my business.
I'm not a technical person but are able to spin up a VPS and manage a portfolio of websites. Every tool I need is there and is easy to use.
In parallel, I can host next generation applications like OpenClaw Hosting or n8n. Which represent the future.

Been looking for a host like xCloud.
I have been looking for a WordPress hosting service that offers more that just WP hosting. When I found xCloud a few months ago, I purchased one of their "Lite" plans and moved a website there. Over those two months, I experienced no issues and no downtime. I appreciate that the dashboard has everything needed to maintain a WP site, including a "Magic Login" button that allows an admin login (for those rare moments when you can't find that elusive password for a client site). Plugin updates from the dashboard eliminates plugins and email, if needed, hosted for only $1.00 per month (or $2.00 form more mail storage).
Today I need some help upgrading my account from the Lite plan to a larger plan. When this failed a few times, I contacted support, via the button on the page, and Cassandra provided some useful tips and suggestions. When those proved unsuccessful, she performed the upgrade herself on the back-end. Job done.
With all the dashboard benefits, email for cheap and blazing support, I think I park my client sites here now. We'll see how it goes. I'm feeling confident though.
