I rent a dumpster about twice a year
I rent a dumpster about twice a year, I think the price is a little high, I'm only allowed to keep it two weeks before incurring additional charges, and since we use the dumpster for 100% farm clean-up I don't like having to pay tax on what should be agriculture exempt since I have a valid ag exemption from the state. All that being said, I will probably continue to use them since my county does not have a dump and does have frequent burn ban's in the summer

We always strive to offer great service at a competitive price, and still make a profit for our efforts. On your concern of charging taxes for farm clean-up, I consulted the Texas State Comptroller's Office to confirm that we are correctly charging taxes. The state told me we are supposed to charge taxes for waste services unless it is a government agency, school, or 501(c)(3) entity. They referred me to Texas Agricultural Sales Tax Exemptions Publication # 96-1112 stating that waste removal services are taxable and do not qualify for sales and use tax exemption for agricultural production.
