Enjoyable conversations, but very low pay for the time involved I really enjoy talking to people on Babel. The conversations are friendly, and I like sharing stories, experiences and ideas with others. That makes the work itself a pleasure. My main criticism is the pay. The advertised rate of $17.54 per hour may sound reasonable, but it does not reflect the total time involved. Once I include waiting for a conversation partner, completing evaluations, training and other required activities, my actual hourly earnings are very low. I continue because I enjoy the conversations. Financially, however, the compensation is disappointing given the time I put in. With fair compensation for the overall time commitment, I would happily give Babel five stars. As it stands, I’m giving it four: a very enjoyable experience, with considerable room for improvement in pay.

Babel is a fun job allowing me to set my own hours and work as much or as little as I want. However, I believe the pay is fine to start out but as people progress there should be a greater hourly rate for people who have been there a while and do great work. The pay is on time and every Tuesday and have never had a problem with that. I use PayPal and they make it so easy to get paid. I feel what would make it better is allowing people to earn more bonuses and a higher hourly rate for good performance would up the moral and make people work harder

Wenn man ein gutes Mikro bzw. Setup hatte und es keine Hintergrundgeräusche gibt dann wurden die Calls als gut markiert, sonst als schlecht so einfach ist das. Die Zahlungen kamen immer an, manchmal gab es auch Bonusse für mehrere Anrufe an einem Tag. Man konnte damit also gut Geld verdienen. Ja die Gespräche werden von KIs, Mitarbeitern oder wer weiß wem gehört aber das ist auch der Sinn der Sache, man trainiert KIs mit guten Gesprächen. Ein Minuspunkt weil die Community Plattform nicht mehr so gut ist wie vorher. Es gibt auch Projekte für professionelle Synchronsprecher und für normale Menschen mit guten Setup.
