Could Definitely Be Modernized
Many of the videos are very out of date (e.g., references to CDs and myspace). The website coding style appears old and is not the most user friendly. There were references to embedded spreadsheets in the workbook that were actually only embedded pictures. I also noticed several typos throughout the course, so it would also benefit from some copy editing. Edit to address response - happy to help point out the lessons. I'd suggest updating materials that tell participants they can use an embedded Excel document (and how to access it) when in fact it is a pasted picture and cannot be used as described. But great lesson in adaptability!

Hi Stephanie - I researched your record and you are likely addressing the free PM Hybrid course offered to assist folks with meeting qualifications they may not have, so they can take the program for which they registered. The video you may be referring to is about Exponential Times done in 2008. We share this video to show exactly what you are addressing - how many people consider the tech they are discussing in it to be "ancient" history (CD's and Myspace) - yet it was only 14 years ago. This validates the very premise we make - things are changing quickly and it's crucial to be able to learn fast to keep up. Also, in the intro we address "perfectionism" bias and how that can impede learning. This is why we purposefully have typo's etc in the program so that folks who may be limited by perfectionistic bias, can recognize it and address how it may be impacting their ability to learn quickly. Also, the examples presented are examples. We encourage people who are becoming Project Management Professionals to adapt Project Management processes to their own strengths so they create the most success. This is why example templates are in PDF or JPG format as illustrations to this philosophy. The spread sheet you mention (referenced in the course outline) is linked in Module 3 of the class, along with the example spreadsheet. It may make more sense to take up these questions/concerns directly with the instructor rather than through the trust pilot review system. Thank you so much for pointing out these very important lessons in this course.
