Data Engineer AcademyReviews of dataengineeracademy.com

Joining Data Engineer Academy was a great decision for my professional growth. The courses are high quality, straight to the point, and truly designed to elevate real-world data engineering skills. DEA learning ressources are very rich. There are many hands-on exercises that allow to practice and build, not just learn theory. I also had a great coach. Very supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive. Since starting the program, I’ve gained stronger technical confidence and more advanced data engineering skills and I'm not done. I 100% recommend Data Engineer Academy to anyone serious about leveling up as a Data Engineer or Architect.

The staff are very supportive and really know their stuff. They are great people to work with.

I decided to change my career to Data Engineering. At first, I doubted whether this was possible at this stage of my career. But when I joined DEA, they provided me with a tailored program to learn the essential skills needed to land a job as a Data Engineer. Since then, with their guidance, I’ve acquired new skills and continue learning every day. If you’re looking to pursue a career in Data Engineering, this program is for you!

They have great coaches, and they've created all of the online tutorials and practice exercises necessary for either entering this field or advancing in it.

The commitment from the apply team. However they need to do a better job of directing us to the right people when it comes to the case study/Assessment tests

Great for Career Switchers I started DE Academy in December 2025. Without much experience in data engineering, so far my experience has been great. I've worked with a success coach who built a personalized and structured plan to help me learn the skills needed to be a data engineer and prepare for interviews. So far, my learning experience has been wonderful. I recently completed the SQL module provided by the academy and it was very thorough and helped me gain a firm grasp of SQL. I also completed a mock interview and was given valuable feedback on how I can improve and prepare for a real interview in the near future. Throughout the process, my success coach has been very helpful by providing me with additional learning resources and answering any questions I have. I'm feeling very confident about my ability to successfully complete the program and break into the field of data engineering.

I have had an excellent experience working with Piyush. He is incredibly helpful, attentive, and consistently checks in to ensure we are fully aligned while also seeking my feedback along the way. His consistency throughout the job application process has been a tremendous relief for me, especially given my time constraints. Piyush’s attention to detail and steady, thoughtful touchpoints truly set him apart. He brings both professionalism and genuine care to his work, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. I deeply appreciate his dedication and reliability and would highly recommend working with him to anyone seeking a dependable and proactive partner in their job search.

I joined this program to strengthen my preparation for Data Engineering roles but wasn’t sure how to approach it in the right way. They evaluated my strengths and weaknesses and created a clear, step-by-step plan of tasks and activities to build my foundation. The weekly mentor check-ins kept me accountable and consistent. The lessons and modules allowed me to learn at my own pace, and the live Q&A sessions helped me clear doubts quickly. Working on real-time projects helped me understand how things work in practical scenarios. This experience has given me the confidence and clarity that I did not have before.
