Dewalt really gave me the run-around when I was trying to get another battery for the faulty one I got with my mower. But when, after a month of emails, they transferred me to Derrick at Stanley Black and Decker he took care of my issue in no time. 5 stars to you Derrick, I wish all customer service was handled with your grace and aptitude. Thanks again.

Still waiting for my drill to be…
Still waiting for my drill to be returned from the service center.
Purchased a hammer drill for $299.
Broke in less than 8 months, actually the 4th time I used it.
Sent in to be repaired & can't seem to get it returned to me. It was taking a long time to get it back so I called service center to inquire. The person at service center( a "KAREN") started complaining about they received 300 tools a day. She got very mad that I had the audacity to call & inquire about my tool. I was told it was repaired & in shipping to come back to me. That was over 4 weeks ago. BUT THEY CAN NOT provide me with any shipping information or a tracking number.

Good Punch, Weak Intimidation
I picked this beauty up after deciding ropes and duct tape were “too seasonal.” Right out of the box, the nail gun feels solid — lightweight enough for extended nighttime “errands,” but powerful enough to redecorate drywall and absolutely ruin a neighbour’s sense of security.
Pros:
Battery life is excellent. Managed three abandoned sheds and a particularly stubborn wardrobe before needing a recharge.
Surprisingly quiet compared to my old compressor model. Hard to hear over the screams.
LED light is handy when your basement bulb keeps flickering like you’re living inside a low-budget horror film.
Cons:
Misfires occasionally. Nothing kills the mood like having to explain to a hostage that you need to clear a jam.
Nails are expensive. Serial killing on a budget is harder than people think.
The trigger safety feature prevented at least two “accidents,” which frankly feels judgmental.
Final verdict:
Great for DIY projects, sinister monologues, and pretending you’re the villain in a streaming crime drama nobody asked for. Lost two stars because the carrying case makes me look like an electrician instead of the terrifying urban legend I’m trying to become.
Would I recommend it?
To contractors: yes.
To serial killers: seek therapy first.

Slapped in the face by DeWalt Service
I was gifted a 20Volt small chainsaw. Great little saw until I used it in the rain and it stopped working. Called DeWalt customer service and was informed there was a service center 100 miles from home so I drove there instead of shipping. The service center had been closed for over two years. Can you imagine how mad I was. So I shipped my little saw postage paid by DeWalt since it was under warranty to California. A little over a month it was returned with a very condescending note that I needed to read the owners manual to operate it correctly. It didn’t state what was fixed, only that they assumed it was operator error. I’m very brand loyal to DeWalt products, but that was a slap. I had read the owners manual and knew how to operate the tiny saw, but going forward I’ll be sure to keep it dry. I do like the little saw, just not that I drove over 200 miles to a closed service center and then got an insulting note upon its return to me.

Apparently won a DeWalt kit
Apparently won a DeWalt kit, payed the shipping, and then I had to pay a big membership fee, which I can't afford, due to losing my job, and income. Won't encourage people to sign up

The drills are terrible
Fir the last twenty years, I have only bought and used Dewalt products for my profession. For almost half of the time, the chucks in the battery operated drill has been terrible, and this is my third drill buying in the last ten years. They dont hold large bits well anymore they used to. Even when you drill pilot holes, the bits still continue to pop out. Also the safety shutdown thats included with the drills also need to go. It makes it a lot harder to dislodge a bit when it gets stuck in a hole. This is the last time im buying dewalt

I bought a 3400 gas power washer
I bought a 3400 gas power washer. This is the third job engine, constantly shuts down after an hour. I'm wondering if the oil they provided me was good oil. Also, the cord, it was so tight that when you go to pull it, it completely. The handle came off the coil spring. Disengage, you need a yeah, 5 sixteenths for the outside screws. You need a 10 mm for the inside. You get to the spring to reset it. And it's just been a nightmare, uh, is the engine good. Yeah, but I think the wall is getting into the power washer game, and they're going cheap. On some of their parts, so to solve this issue with a tight coil spring, when you buy it new, you need a longer cord. So they're going cheap on the cord. They're going cheap on the handle also from taking the cover off because I'm trying to get the job done and I'm getting lucky and doing it on one Pole, and it won't retract, but I finally got it to retract. The screw holes are not tightening the screws up because how they boarded. They went cheap. It's like they went cheap on the small stuff. The engine is good though so, but 3 stars because they need to improve. And if you're gonna get into the power washer game, don't go short on the small stuff, and why does the engine constantly? Keep going off. You know this is b*******

Batterie life is sporadic on all sizes, home use.
I love DeWalt tools when I was a contractor I had all DeWalt tools but a few that DeWalt didn't make. My main complaint then and now (Retired) are the lifetime of the batteries, all sizes. Some would last a very long time and some not so much. Now that am retired the cost is the biggest issue. Can't afford to replace them on retired income. Some last a very long time and some not at all. Problem, not sure if it is the batteries or charger. But I can't afford to replace them both at the same time to trouble shoot the problem. I see this problem with the pole chain saw and the pole trimer more than others. The 20 volt blower batteries are the same. almost like it is with the tools that require more power, not small tools like drills etc.
