DogVacay has been a great service for us since we recently moved to Newmarket. The site offered many hosts to choose from. Our host has been great and we are very happy with the care that we receive. What I like about the DogVacay service is how user-friendly it is from booking time with your host, to paying on-line, getting email reminders what to bring on the first visit, follow-up satisfaction surveys, and newsletters. I have booked many dates in advance for care, so I am confident that I have good care for our dog when travelling - my only suggestion is that you pay in full when booking the reservation - typically one does not pay for a service until it is fulfilled, so I would prefer put down a 50% down payment when booking. A minor suggestion, but not a reason for me not to use the service.

We were in a pickle! We had just moved and of the one person I had met that I could trust my babies with, she was going out of town! Luckily for us, she was a pet sitter for Dog Vacay! She told me about the app and showed me the basics. Off I went, we found Maria and my fur babies couldn't have been happier!!! She checked on them daily, fed/watered, in fact took such good care of them when I came home, they were like 'Mom, you're back' All the love and no cattitude. Using DogVacay was so easy and fun that gave me such peace of mind while I was away I (almost) never worried. 😁

We are so happy with our sitter and our experience with DogVacay. We went on a 2 week vacation and never once worried about our girl. Our sitter kept us informed daily and spoiled and loved our little one while we were gone

DogVacay is a remarkable service, never again will I kennel our dog.The professionalism of the entire experience was awesome. We did a couple of meet and greets and then found our forever doggie host. Our host family really was wonderful, I wondered if our dog would want to come home after the special treatment he received. I also love the email reminders regarding what to send with our dog as well as the information form to give to the host.

My spouse and I needed to go out of town on short notice and had no one to watch our boys, a Rottweiler and a beagle, until we found this site! I messaged a host and she responded in 20 minutes we met her and dropped the boys off a few hours later. Another time we were hours late coming back due to border traffic and our host was so accomodating. The best part is you get pics and videos of your pups to assure you they're doing great. I just wish these were posted to me in the site rather than or as well as being emailed. However overall I recommend this sevice to everyone!

Had several meet n greets w/prospective sitters. They all met our criteria for indoor-outdoor space for our chocolate lab 12+ years old. Some had other dogs big and/or small and all of them absolutely loved animals!

I just moved to San Jose and have a senior dog. I was able to locate an excellent sitter who watched my dog over the Thanksgiving holiday. I have found the customer service representatives to be very helpful. Highly recommend the service.
