Dog Vacay is a true life saver. We moved to Alabama just over a year ago. My husband and I wanted to travel and make small weekend trips. We have 3 dogs and could never go and leave them in a cage for a weekend. I googled dog boarding in our area and found many choices and options to choose from. Scheduled 3 meet and greets until I found just the right match for us. My 3 dogs had a great time and our host was outstanding. She took detailed notes about my dogs to ensure they had a good stay. I really appreciated getting photos and updates throughout the weekend. Our family is so grateful for this service and will continue to use it in the future!

I booked a host for Christmas as I was going to another province to see family. I met with the host, she seemed great, and she ensured there would be no issues with her watching our dog, and we originally felt great about it. We mentioned how most of the kennels had filled up, so we were glad we had found her, this was over a month and a half before the holidays. Come to two weeks before we leave and we get a notification that she cancelled on us because she no longer was available for Christmas, we now can no longer go see our family as there are no kennels nor people available, and we live in a new city where we don't know anyone yet. Had we not received her guarantee for Christmas we would have looked elsewhere and could have found a place, as we did have other options at the time that are no longer available. Being able to cancel this last minute for Holidays is unacceptable, and I am very upset about this experience and now will not get to spend the holiday's with my loved ones. If you are booking for a busy time of year I would recommend booking elsewhere if you want to ensure the security of your booking.

I really like the fact that my dog was treated like one of the family. I received updates and photos of my dog every few days, which made me feel less anxious about leaving her when I was on vacation. The home she was staying at was clean, warm and inviting. I couldn't be happier with my Dogvavay experirnce.
