You never said this was not just for correcting distance vision. The fact you give us an add number seems to contradict this. Anyways, my new glasses using your numbers were horrible and blurry. It was obviously too strong. I was alarmed when your support person said there was an offset he could remove. It would have been nice to know about this offset before I ordered my glasses!! Now I have to return my glasses and absorb the shipping cost. I would not recommend this device to anyone. Especially if you are a combination of near and farsided and wear progressives or bi-focals.

It took a few trials to work out how the EyeQue works, but with the feed back from the software it became easier. The end result was a prescription that I tried on the $19 glasses. It works perfectly, my prescription is spot-on!

This is just an overpriced pair of readers with a lot more hassle. After going through the testing an inordinate amount of times I was told I had to do it again with my screen set to high resolution because my results probably weren't accurate. I repeated the testing again and again only to receive an error at the conclusion of every set with my screen set to high resolution as requested. When I contacted customer service, I was told they could send me a pair of try on glasses with an average of my results regardless. When they arrived and I actually saw the numbers they were exactly the same in both eyes which was an immediate red flag since my vision is much worse in my right eye. Sure enough when I tried them on I found they were simply magnified and I couldn't read anything out of them. For all the time and money I spent on this I could have driven to the store and bought dozens of cheap reader glasses that would have had the same effect. It's a waste of time and money.

Ordered the full kit for myself and my little family, and of course had to try it all out on myself before they got home. It was handy to have training videos (slow paced but easy to understand) to watch through the apps you download for the devices, but I was still confused about how many profiles and how to setup with the vision check so I reached out to customer support. I received a very timely response letting me know that the vision check can be shared, but through their own account. So far it's been well worth the money spent, and even gave my teens something new to roast mom about.
