Ordered 2 small gift items Saturday, Dec. 27th to one home address, I figured they would ship from Wisconsin to Northern Ohio within a few days, I was wrong. After 3 business days (Dec 31st), I called for a status, I was advised they didn't know why the order had not shipped yet and would review. A few days later, I received an email that 1 item was not available and the other item was shipped January 2nd and received January 6th, with USPS doing the best for this order. Based on this experience I probably would not order from BFF again.

I scheduled an oil change online for 44.95. Went to appointment and was told about 45 minutes. When I went to pickup car, suddenly it was over $65 dollars. When I questioned this, I got all sorts of excuses about website etc. I think people ought to think twice about going to Blains. They are not very honest

The new Cooper tires are great. The time to put them in was not. I can’t believe it took 2hrs and 40 minutes to put on 4 tires and align my car. They have tire machines to take off tires from rims and put new ones on. Air archers for the lug nuts. How can this possibly take this long? My son used to work there years ago and it doesn’t take that long to do this job. I waited and waited! Not happy!!

what happened to this business?? They were a successful establishment for 50+ yrs. By the other reviews here & me having same issues, il keep this brief. The shipping & handlings prices fluctuate way too much. 1 month its 7.99 & the next it could be as much as $50 , which is ridiculous. To add insult to injury, the quality of food items has fallen way off. I ordered over $100 worth of pantry items & snacks & the majority was disgustingly stale & expired. Im still waiting on that call back for a refund.

I gave 2 stars because I did get my orders. I ordered a gingerbread house and when it came to me it was broken. When I called customer service about a refund I had to literally spend the better part of 10 minutes discussing the logistics of the gingerbread house because I was told that it's supposed to come broken because I'm supposed to put it together! The gentleman on the other end of the phone said he was going to try to get me a refund. Then he told me I should be getting an email that will give me information on whether or not I was going to get a refund and or how to return the item. I have not received an email nor have I received any information back on the broken gingerbread house. I am sure that this company has some good points but the packaging and the way that my gingerbread house came to me was not very conducive of it coming to me without it being broken. I ordered some decorations for the gingerbread house which came in a separate order and those were packed wonderfully! Although I'm going to be out only $15 I would suggest against ordering anything that is fragile through this company.

I had 2 appts. One on 10/21 and the other on 10/23 for my lifetime pkg tire rotation and balance. I was not offered the quick check on each and it wasn't performed either. When I asked the service advisor if they quit doing it, he said that it's usually done, but for some reason,the tech didn't perform any on my 2 vehicles. Even though they may be short handed this is no reason to not fully do the job that they are paid to do.

Bought a nail gun on Nov 27th, Thanksgiving Day. Knew it would not get shipped until the 28th. Paid about $25 for two day air delivery, Fed Ex. Given this expected the item on Sunday (Fed Ex Sunday delivery is the norm now as they deliver 7 days a week) at the latest. It has been 4 days since order and still not here. Don't pay extra for delivery, just go standard rate or get the free delivery. The extra money for two day air was wasted and just extra income in their pocket.

Been a customer for 50 years. My experience is it really depends which store your at. My current store is Bourbonnais IL. It is the worst! Looking for items the site claim is in stock without any luck. You would think one of the 6 employees, 3 of which were managers would offer help, NOPE! I asked an employee where the item was i was looking for. Duhhhh. The tool rep she was talking to offered to help, not the F&F employee. Of course like so often in the Boubonnais store they are out and inventory is someone else's problem. I have 10 lead acid batteries on the farm. F&F used to provide all, not anymore. Last three came from Batteries and Bulbs after the F&F batteries failed after less than 1 year..
