The cleaner made an absolutely outrageous claim that my house "was too dirty to clean", then sent pictures of clean dishes drying, a head band fallen on the floor and claimed it was underwear, and took pictures of an area they were specifically told to avoid. First, that's clearly not underwear, it's a headband. Second, I'm not going to sweep my floors then pay someone to sweep my floors. Third, they were specifically instructed not to worry about cleaning the bath tub in the comments. Fourth, they took pictures of clean dishes drying on a drying mat and called it clutter. I am beyond furious that I've been treated this way and made to feel like I'm disgusting because the cleaner can't read and doesn't know the difference between a head band and freaking underwear. Beyond. Furious.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologize for the frustration this experience caused. While our teams always aim to complete services as booked, there are times when conditions in a home may require additional add-ons, upgraded services, or may prevent certain areas from being cleaned safely or effectively. We apologize that this wasn’t clearly communicated at the time of booking. For clarity on what can and cannot be cleaned during our services, you can review our full list of inclusions and exclusions in our FAQs here: https://getspruce.com/faqs/#hfaq-post-583 We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve transparency for our customers moving forward. If you’d like us to review this case in more detail, please contact us directly at [email protected] so we can assist further.

Sparkling kitchen & bathroom is always nice too see. Vacuum and dusting job was great, They missed taking out the kitchen garbage. Sweeping/Mopping was disappointing crumbs under lip of the cupboards. Looks like just the center of floor was swept and mopped ☹️. Normally this company is AMAZING 20 outta 10 stars. This was a new crew that came in today.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you were pleased with most of the service areas, but we’re sorry the floors didn’t meet your usual expectations this time. It sounds like some details were missed during the sweeping and mopping, and we appreciate you letting us know — especially since this was a new cleaning team. We’ve shared your comments with our team to help ensure more consistent results moving forward!
