Buy anything else. I have had two Glowforge machines for 7 years: the basic purchased in 2019 and the pro in 2022. For the longest time I ran them on their subscription and they were great. No issues. The second I cancel my subscription, I start having problems. The cameras can’t focus, I receive error messages constantly and they take upwards of 20 mins to be ready to print. Explain to me why, even though I spent nearly $10k on these machines, it requires a $50 a month subscription for them to actually function. I was wondering if it was just because my machines were aging but last month I resigned up for the subscription and they went back to functioning properly. Shame on this company and DO NOT buy a Glowforge. There are so many other options that use local files for print rather than relying on the Glowforge servers.

Have a Glowforge Pro Passthrough. has never worked right. Never prints where it shows on the screen, tried everything Glowforge "experts" told me to no avail. If I don't use their materials, I always get bad results: won't cut all the way through, have to fool it to get it centered. Within last year quit working altogether. their customer service could be run better by a group of elementary students. Clean this, check connectors, send me a pic that you checked connectors, etc.

I have the Glowforge Spark. Bought is over a year ago. Just don't. Get something else completely or save your money and buy a better model. The Aura isn't great either. Can't attest for the higher models, but there really is very little to do with a spark, cut times are ridiculously long in comparison to other lasers, and is essentially only good for earrings or other very small projects, not much else. I clean my machine after every print, I have filter and a well ventilated room and I still get over heated and sometimes an orange button that just shuts things down completely. Support is a joke. Your better off with chat gpt than getting help from a person. And you are paying an additional subscription fee every month/year in order to use your machine otherwise you have a huge paper weight.

I have owned a Glowforge Pro for the past 4 years. The passthrough is a joke. I have wasted so much product and time with it. It is supposed to be user friendly. I have loathed this purchase as long as we have owned it and used it. I hope to replace it in the coming year. I would never buy another Glowforge!

Glow Forge makes toys not tools. Terrible waste of money & time. Management doesn't seem to see opportunity only ways to charge the customer. Too bad, everyone looses.

Terrible laser. Not compatible with light burn so you have to use their overpriced useless software which after months of trying I couldn’t even get upgraded to use. Customer service is terrible and after spending over 3k on the basic laser the price plummeted and is now redundant and has little to no resale value. Avoid at all cost there are much better lasers out there.

The first aura I had worked but it would skew and I wasted a ton of money on wood. They finally sent me a replacement. That machine would connect to my wifi but the app print stayed grayed out. After troubleshooting with customer service which took a week, they agreed to send me a new one. That took a week. Received it today, same problem. It is a piece of shit

This machine is extremely unreliable and has not been able to work appropriately since it was unboxed and assembled. To make matters worse, customer service is slow and are not helpful. This machine is a waste of money. DO NOT BUY
