The half moon custom shade fit and works. There were zero written instructions in the box. The cost seems about 3 times too high for what it is, but it did come as promised and it works!

(Updates below) My experience wasn’t the best. Ordered a ceiling curtain that does not effectively open and close automatically. The app sucks. Accidentally ordered wrong size and am stuck with it warranties don’t apply to custom orders. Have two shades side by side with a larger gap than I’d assumed. Trying a different brand after wasting over $1k and being told once again, custom orders can’t be helped at all. Overall bad experience. Update: The graywind team has been helpful ensuring I have a good experience. I’ll be ordering again (to match the item I couldn’t return). I was able to re-order the incorrect item that I took full accountability on, and the graywind team (Zoe) continued to help. I did have to pay again, but $300 vs the original price. Can’t complain. Update again, Zoe was helpful. Shelley on the other hand hasn’t been. I have an unused shade here now that can’t be returned, so why not get another to match it? But for the full price of 800+ after spending a couple thousand just sounds ridiculous to me.

The curtains themselves were fine. A little frail but ok. The install ion instruction and video are terrible.

The item quality was OK however I placed an order at a specific price and then I was told that the price that I got it for online was too low even though it was from the gray wind website. So they told me that they would either refund my money or I would have to pay more so instead of ordering the six blinds that I placed the order for I only ordered one. The person I spoke to told me that even though the website gave me that price, they would not make enough money on it so they were gonna have to refund it and cancel it. I don’t really appreciate that kind of Customer Service, most people don’t.

I’m very happy overall with the motorized blinds themselves. The pricing was the best I found, installation was straightforward, and the blinds work amazingly well. The motorization has been smooth and reliable, and I’m really happy with that part of the purchase. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the fabric-covered valance option. I ordered the matching fabric wrap so it would blend with the shade material, but unfortunately it looks very rippled and uneven instead of smooth and clean. It takes away from the overall finished look. I honestly think this option either needs improvement or should only be offered with certain fabrics that lay flatter. I may end up covering it with white molding instead. Aside from that issue, the blinds themselves are excellent and a great value.

Overall I love the blinds and excellent customer service - replies promptly. However, the ordering of a replacement motor proved to be quite cumbersome. It took me several days to order a new motor via emails and a chat session. The chat session was successful. I believe you should be able to order replacement motors via the website. It would be easier.
