My vacation rentals website was giving me trouble. I don’t know what to do. I shared my problem with my friend and then she recommended me the GreatWebMaker. Contacting these professionals from GreatWebMaker was the best thing I have done that day. They not only shorted all the glitches in my website but also assured me of providing future assistance in maintaining my site. They charged me the minimum fee, which was great.

Take a hard look of their reviews, and do not trust. My experience: I hired Jim Williams of GWM to build my website for vacation rentals, their speciality. What was developed for me was pretty but didn't work, and had no back-end. It was also built on code that was past the end of life, another words, it couldn't be supported, maintained or updated. It also was hackable, which happened within 2 months of going live. Naive me, I also paid $1600 for them to do SEO, which was never done because it couldn't, due to the old code, and junkie approach. Everything had to be hardcoded for any changes. After much frustration, with Jim not addressing errors and disappearing, I was able to talk to Harry Jones, the lead for this company. During this time, I was also featured by them as a website that they developed and I was contacted by 5 different frustrated customers. At one point, Harry offered to fix everything, admitting issues. Later, he admitted that I needed a rewrite, and that they weren't going to do it. I asked about the $1600 for SEO, no response. Result: After spending app. $3000 I completely abandoned this website, and used this experience to find other developers to completely rebuild. Lessons Learned: Check references personally, contact owners. Check those websites and verify that they still function after a year or so, or have been abandoned. There are good designer/developers out there, much more current and not expensive. Require the use of Wordpress, not .php that makes you dependent. Own your own domain and separate hosting accounts. Get onto FB groups related to your industry and learn before you start this. You do not have to be techie to do all of this. Finally, If you are in the vacation rental property sector, I am happy to help share my learnings so that I feel my $3k debacle wasn't a total waste. Do NOT waste your money on GWM.

My vacation rental website needed a complete overhaul. I chose Great Webmakers after doing quite a bit of online research. Still cautious, it took awhile before I trusted the process...but Harry won me over. He was consistently courteous, patient and professional and always responsive to my many questions (although not always as quickly as I would like). I was very clear about what I wanted design-wise, and he (and his team) worked with me for months to get it perfect. The result is a KICK-ASS website that I love, and the feedback from my network has been fantastic. Thanks Harry for all your hard work, and thanks to your team!

To Kellie White. I must say that Kellie has been calling me for a while about my former website, but i WAS really skeptic about using them, any way she keep on calling and one day I decided to really listen to what she have to say. She told me about what was missing from my site and what they can do to improved my site, I talk it over with my husband and we finally decided to give them a try. Kellie and Harry was very great with all my questions and changes, not to mention the amount of problem that we run in to in order to get access to my domain name etc,but Kellie was the number one who work on my wed site, she did all that she can to get the problem solve, now I'm loving my web site, and I now have Harry working on the marketing for the site. I cant wait to see my website showing up and more business coming in. Thank you Kellie, it was a really great pleasure working with you.
