Didn’t get anything out of this
Didn’t get anything out of this. I tried to get help for my rosacea and there were only two options. One ended up sending me to urgent care with an adverse reaction and the other was “really expensive” per the provider. They just suggested I see a “real dermatologist”. Um. Then I got word that the prior approval for ozempic failed. The ability to get prior authorization was the reason I came to you. So far, I’ve gotten nothing out of the experience except spending tons of time on the phone with my insurance company to get them to give me info you require but aren’t using.

Hi Micah, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We share your frustrations about prescription costs and coverage complexities. Unfortunately, medication prices and insurance benefits are separate entities from providers, so Alpha does not have control over the cost and coverage of prescriptions. If you haven’t yet, please message your care team through our secure patient portal for additional support. This is to protect your privacy and ensure your care is safe and effective. Be sure to choose the corresponding thread for your condition or visit. Thank you!
