I found a carpenter on HomeGuide who claimed he was a licensed contractor, could pull a permit for an attic gable retrofit project. He lied, constantly pressured me to do the work unpermitted, filed a manipulated permit using another person’s license and used his email information on the owner’s page of the permit instead of mine. I fired him for deceptive business practices and reported his actions to HomeGuide and their AI response was leave a review, I emailed my review for them to post and they never responded. Apparently they did not vet this guy David Tapia, as he has a history of unethical practices. And they don’t care. Stay away from HomeGuide they are not a reputable source for reputable tradesmen.

I needed a section of gas line to my furnace replaced. Alberto from All Plumbing Services was on time, assessed the situation, secured the part and made the repair in no time. He answered all the questions that I had and also gave me an estimate on other plumbing projects that I inquired about. His pricing seemed fair. I would hire him again.

There was different communication on a daily basis. What we verbally agreed to was not what we got and there was nothing in writing about the plans. We were quoted two different prices and charged a 3rd different price which we had to dispute with our credit card company because it was not what we authorized them to take out of our account or what was in the written contract. The job was not finished because they didn’t have enough concrete when they clearly should have and wanted us to buy more concrete to finish the job. Would not recommend to anyone.

I would give zero stars if I could. They keep taking money out of my account.....for what? I did not authorize any withdrawals from them. I am going to get all of my money back.

Ahshaar was here to fix our electrical problem as soon as he finished the job he was working on when we called. We had a power surge from the heavy wind storm and it damaged some wires in our attic. The problem was fixed in a timely manner and for an affordable price. Thank you Ahshaar for a job well done.

This is a follow up to my original review several days ago in which I gave a 3 stars. Well, Marcelo did come out today, Monday, June 29, 2026. He was right on time. He did not waste time and immediately went right to work. He repaired my self propelled lawn mower in about 15 minutes as he first estimated the repair time. He is a 5 star guy now. His price was cheaper than any other repair place. I received estimate from 3 other businesses. One business said they would have my mower in their shop for a week. I would call him again if I needed lawn equipment repaired. He knew what he was doing. I would recommend contacting Marcelo if you have a need

I’ve had 3 project just this month. They gave me several options for someone to do what I needed. I got the right people to do the jobs.
