I avoid doctors at all costs and don’t typically go to the doctor unless it’s life threatening, but I decided to give MIDI a try since I was having pretty severe perimenopausal symptoms. I have been very happy with my MIDI doctor, Megan! She is very personable, easy to talk to, actually listens to my concerns and is very open to natural remedies that I have mentioned. I am starting to feel better on the HRT that she recommended and am now working toward losing this perimenopausal weight gain. If you are leery of the medical industry like I am, I highly recommend that give MIDI a try!

I was a bit skeptical and nervous going into my appointment! I was pleasantly surprised with the absolute best experience thus far in my health journey. My clinician was truly amazing. She listened to all my symptoms, asked follow questions, and made sure I understood all my options! I was truly so happy and relieved to receive such great care, and help with my hormones. It has been a long difficult road for me with not great experiences at appointments. I truly felt heard and taken seriously and will absolutely continue using Midi! I am getting back to myself quicker than I expected with their expert care and help! 5 stars all around!

Hey Girl, you’re not crazy. You deserve to feel better. You deserve to talk to someone when you want to about your ‘female issues;’ someone who wants to listen to what you have to say(!) someone who understands and has very specific knowledge and interest in what you’re going through. Take care of you. You are worth it. You deserve to feel your best. My OBGYN and PCP were not up to the task. Midi is vital and necessary.

I have been using midi for over a year for weight loss. The Good: initially easy to set up appointments. I did lose 30 lbs. The Bad:Initially they said I was self pay but my insurance did cover the visits. I had to do a lot of work on my side of things to prove this and get the visits covered. This medical company should assist clients with this. Scheduling- so many rescheduled appointments because my provider last minute wasn’t available. Stall- I have been stalled these last 4 months with no weight loss. When my provider mentioned changing meds (to more $$) I asked about getting them run through insurance. She said I was self pay so she couldn’t do that. I said no, I am being covered by insurance could you please check. Final Straw: my last appointment again was rescheduled during a time I wasn’t available. So I had to move it. I logged on early and my provider wad late. Then she had technical issues. It kept disconnecting and reconnecting. I called their technical support number while this was going on. They said they would have to call me back and that I would need to reschedule my appointment. These appointments are literally 5 minutes and they allocate 15-30 minutes to them. I asked to escalate the call to a supervisor and was lied to. I was told they didn’t have supervisors, but then a few minutes later they admitted they didn’t have escalation supervisors. That dishonesty was the final straw.

Midi is charging more to customers with insurance. If you need an issue to be resolved, have everything in writing because if you call the billing department, they are unprofessional, rude, and aggressive. Other representatives are polite, but not the billing department. They may charge $200 for a 10-minute appointment. They are NP, not MD specialists. While I had positive experiences, this experience will not let me come back to this service unless my issue is resolved.

I am a public health professional (DrPH) who works on maternal health globally. I am 45 and have been experiencing some changes in my weight despite all my attempts to eat healthy and exercise. I am flooded with adverts for GLPs which is not something I want to do as I’m not obese nor am I diabetic or otherwise unhealthy. So since midi health offered holistic approaches to dealing with changes during perimenopause I decided to try it. I’m so disappointed that midi health is considered a ‘win’ for Women’s health. The discussion with the doctor was around my diet and exercise routine and I am on birth control for endometriosis so was immediately told I really have no options like supplements or anything else until I get off. Then I was told to consider GLPs so I asked a few questions but that’s the most significant discussion we had on solutions. So if midi health is a shell company for GLPs then you need to be open about it rather than promotion a holistic perspective and not even thinking about solutions for women who have issues such as endometriosis or other gynecological issues. I see a lot of funding was raised for this company but as a public health professional of over 20 years it’s very disappointing that this is the state of women’s health in America. I will make sure not to promote midi health among my network.
