We ordered a doggie door from Larson because you can’t just buy a doggie door and install it. Both of our storm doors are Larson. It cost over $200. We ordered it the second week in August. It’s now October. Still, no doggie door. They’re slow, their customer service is worthless and the fact that we still haven’t gotten it, hey it’s not their fault!

We had a top end Larson storm door installed in 2023. This spring we noticed the top glass panel does not want to stay up by itself anymore. It is supposed to lower down to open it up to the screen panel. But now it doesn't stay up when we latch it. I looked it up on YouTube video to find a fix. Found out there that the latch was poorly designed, and doesn't stay in the slot to stop the window from sliding back down. Call customer service at Larson doors, and they had me in their system, and knew what door I had. They wanted me to take pics of all 4 corners to see for themselves if the screen was just pushing the glass panel down. I told them, its not the screen, but the poorly designed latch thats now been redesigned because of the problems your having with them. I asked if this was covered under the warranty. They said we only warranty for a year. They said the part was $13.67. It's sad that they want to charge the customer for a replacement part that they knew was already faulty. I'm sure it doesn't cost them that much to make this part. Be careful what company you buy from. Big name brand doesn't mean they stand behind their faulty products.

Very Poor quality parts in handle. Absurdly overpriced to replace. Parts appear designed with rapid planned obsolescence. Sorry to see a formerly good quality product in such deterioration

Larson handle mechanisms are absolute garbage. Internal mechanisms are made of cheap metal, and they will break way more often than they should. Then when you call for a replacement, the parts are almost as much as a new door. STAY AWAY FROM LARSON and go a different direction.

Great screen door. Even better service 5 stars — Real people, real service Called Larson about screw cover strips for my 20 Pet XL Highview storm door and had a live person on the line immediately. No phone tree, no bot, no AI runaround. Karen took the call and knew the product cold. She understood exactly what I needed for both the sides and the top, found the right parts on the first try, and had the order placed in seconds. No transfers, no callbacks, no "let me check and get back to you." This mattered more than it should have. I'd been chasing the wrong part on this door for a while, and the difference between someone who actually knows the product line and someone reading a script is night and day. Karen sorted out in one call what had taken multiple attempts before. She mentioned her supervisor is Michelle. I hope Michelle knows what she has in Karen — that kind of person is what keeps customers coming back. Larson still staffs its customer service with real people who know what they're selling. That's rare now, and it's worth saying out loud. Genuinely appreciated.

500$ storm door, hidden closure failed within a few years - and the company forces you to pay $50 for a little screw and plastic piece and wait, up to 14 days to get it. They don’t offer these kits for retail anywhere, forcing you to buy from them and spend $50 for a few tiny pieces that FAIL. They clearly know this is an issue. Never buying a Larson door again.
