Our murphy bed is beautifully crafted

Fantastic quality product, great customer service, and great installation team

After much research, we purchased a Murphy bed from Legacy Handcraft. From before the purchase through completion of the installation, Jeremy and his team were available to answer questions and provide guidance. We are very happy with the quality of the product. It truly looks like a custom made piece in our home. It is not inexpensive but quality never is inexpensive and this is quality! Shipping and delivery was timely. Installation was pretty straightforward by following both the written directions and video. We would not hesitate to recommend Legacy to anyone.

I ordered this bed to replace an old metal frame. I wanted it to show up before elderly relatives from out of town came to visit, and it did! I'm very happy with how the bed assembles and disassembles. This makes it very easy to carry upstairs by yourself, even if you have tight turns in a narrow hallway like I do. The fit of the pieces that make up the headboard is very tight and precise. The assembly instructions are great. Most importantly, it looks great! (I ordered the Walnut color.) I didn't think to order narrower slats as my mattress required, so I bought some 1x3s from Lowe's and cut them to size and laid them between the slats that came with the bed. Worked great! Delivery was a complicated issue. I was away from home, traveling for work, when I received the usual text from UPS that a package was to be delivered. Seeing that it was from Legacy Handcraft, I knew it was the bed. I didn't want it to sit outside while I was gone, in case it rained, so I rescheduled the delivery for two days later. Unfortunately, UPS lost the package. Had to file a claim, have them look for the package. Fortunately, it showed about a week later. This was still in time for me to assemble it before my relatives arrived, and within the delivery estimate that Legacy provided, so I've not taken any stars off for this. It's not like they can control UPS! I would buy one of these again.
