It was a good investment.

When our current alarm system contract came to an end, we started shopping for a new one. We came across an ad for Link Home Security while cruising the net. I loved that we could install it ourselves and use the contacts we already had in place from our old system. The system was shipped within days of our ordering it with Debbie (she was wonderful, courteous, and professional) and took about 30 minutes to install and get operational. I love the fact that I can monitor my entire home from my smart phone using the Alarm.com app. Makes my daughter feel safer knowing that she can have a live person at any time if an emergency should arise. The cost per month for this system is the best around. You get more bang for your buck with Link Home Security! I am a customer for life!

THE SYSTEM WAS EASY TO INSTALL, OTHER THAN THE CAMERA. I DIDN'T USE THE THERMOSTAT BECAUSE I HAVE A HIGH TECH THERMOSTAT IN USE NOW THAT WORKS WELL. PERSONEL WERE VERY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS. WE WON'T KNOW HOW WELL THE SYSTEM WORKS UNTIL WE HAVE A BREAK-IN, WHICH HOPEFULLY WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

System was very easy to install and configure. I added several additional components (control panels, CO2 detectors, smoke alarms, door & window sensors). I really wanted a system I could install myself and configure exactly the way I wanted - this is the system. One window sensor was unresponsive, and after a call to customer service, my call was answered by a tech who was very friendly and responsive who sent me out a new sensor free of charge. Additionally, he took a look at how I set everything up, and tweaked some settings for me. Excellent experience, I would recommend this company to everyone.

We looked at national monitoring companies and they were more expensive than Link Home Security. The monthly charges were much higher including a premium for cellular connectivity to the station. We purchased Link Home Security from Costco which was priced reasonably well along with monthly charges that included monitoring Z-Wave sensors for doors and windows, thermostat and 2 light modules. The products work well and you can control devices using the smartphone app or computer from anywhere. Plus txt/email notifications also included. Customer service is great, and Debbie is very helpful in getting the system configured correctly. I will highly recommend this company.

Priced ADT as well. The ADT salesperson was annoying and pushy. Asked him for a written quote, as he just put some ballpark figures on a tiny piece of paper. Needless to say I never got the written quote. Priced Link through Costco, and we got more sensors, and better features for more than half the price of ADT. The install was easy and self explanatory. I did have questions about the remote light switch and customer service walked me through it. The monthly monitoring fees are also less than half the price of ADT as well. Not sure why anyone would go with a big name national company, when Link uses the exact same technology and monitoring. Highly recommend.
