LO4D.comReviews of lo4d.com

lo4d is a small and safe download site. lots of free software download but has disabled some programs i like

LO4D.com is a little bit like a second line of defense against malware. They seem to use 20-30 antivirus engines to warn you about downloads. I think there is some malware that they site links to, but you just gotta read the warnings like "This file may harm your computer". The last reviewer must not be able to read! The site always warns you of toolbars and adware unlike the people over at CBS running cnet. Just be careful always when downloading stuff online. This site is not perfect but it seems to be very accurate when warning against installing crap.

This site provides an easy way to download and search for software. One of the best things this site provides are virus tests and marks adware as such. Even though the site has the word Beta in the logo, I have not come across any major bugs. It has a clean layout and provides reviews for many of the software listed. Highly recommended.

This site has a very clean look and is easy on the eyes. Most of the software is rated to give the user a helpful tip on how well the software works.
