Had a group of 16 in Peru to see the Amazon, Machu Picchu, etc. Had looked at Lost World and one other company that had excellent reviews. Lost World was about 25% less, with all of the various accommodations being about 1-star lower rated than the expensive company. Went with Lost World for cost after some agonizing. Very glad we did as every place Lost World had us staying was excellent - couldn't possibly have wanted or needed nicer. All of Lost World's guides were great, all of the help at the various transfer points was more than adequate, all of the suggestions from Lost World (particularly Andrew G.) were good, and I will definitely use them for any further adventures. My two cents for anyone planning a similar trip would be to put in a few unscheduled days here and there - we were pretty thoroughly scheduled, and would have liked to just wander about a bit on our own, particularly in Cusco and Aguas Caliente.

My son and I had a wonderful vacation in Peru with the help of Garrett from lost world adventures. All was planned well despite our short time in Peru and need to ascend quite rapidly. The guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. We did not have to think a bit about our logistics. The transfer hosts were right on everything even handing us our boarding passes for Peru local airlines. Our final day in Lima which might have been a day wait in the airport was instead a walking tour and delicious dinner at a pacific view restaurant. Thank you Lost World Adventures MAry q

Our family just returned from a fantastic 2 week vacation in Peru - we went to Machu Picchu (hiked inca trail), Cusco and Lake Titicaca. Andrew & Lost World Adventures created a seamless trip for us - with all the details covered we were able to truly enjoy our vacation and not stress at all about how to get to the various destinations. We had great tour guides that really enriched our experience. It was also great to pay upfront and then not hassle with money & exchange rates for all the activities. First rate all the way!!

Sharee and I had an amazing and wonderful experience on the La Pinta Yacht 5-night cruise of part of the Galapagos Islands. We have done several cruises, and I must say the La Pinta was equal to the best we have ever done. Our stateroom was terrific (we had a double); the food was excellent; service, superb. The four naturalists on board were fabulous. Only negative was the captain was a bit remote and stand-offish. He was the exception. We got a superb taste of the Galapagos. We now hunger for more, having only seen a bit of the total experience. Our pre-trip to Quito was just OK. The old historic portion of the city was interesting. Our walking tour guide left a bit to be desired. His English was hard to understand. The day we spent driving to the market-town was way too long. He was not a good driver...rarely taking his car out of 3rd gear. My recommendation to all would be to combine Machu Picchu with the Galapagos and forget Quito. We chose Quito because we had twice been to Machu Picchu. Our flight from our home town required going through Quito. Lost World Travel is excellent. This is our second time using them, having previously traveled to Colombia under their auspices. Andrew (owner) is accommodating and thoughtful. We found Lost World through Zicasso

Our family of 5 recently traveled to Peru and Lost World Adventures was recommended to us by a friend. They did an excellent job setting up our itinerary to the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco and Puno and we always felt very well taken care of! We had knowledgeable and fun guides who were helpful and always on time, and interesting private tours. The hotels and food were top notch. At our request, they did a good job of balancing excursions with leisure time. I would highly recommend Lost World Adventures!

We have travelled a lot. Mostly it has been by ourselves. Sometimes in groups. We have travelled with some of the top rated travel companies In the world. We have gone to places where we felt we had to have a guided tour. South America was one of those trips. We had heard about Lost World Adventures from several well travelled friends. So we called to see what itinerary they would suggest to see and experience our main objectives. Right from the start, I knew we had made the right call. Andrew explained that they could plan a fully escourted private tour, that would take us everywhere we were intent on seeing and still be within our budget. We would start in the Sacred Valley and Machu Piccu where the elevation is comfortable and gradually work our way to Ecuador where the elevation is over 9300 feet. They booked us on a wonderful small boat in the Galapagos that Dr. Steven Hawking was getting on the day we were getting off. I guess if it's good enough for him, it's .......... for me. All along out trip, the guides were some of the best ever. The sights were world class. The food outstanding. The hotels spectacular. I could not imagine the entire trip would be so flawless and would recommend Lost World Adventures to anyone interested in a great trip to South America.

Wonderful, knowledgable guides booked by Lost World who went the extra mile with help and information. Great feeling of being adventurous and yet knew we were in capable hands ! I have traveled with Lost World Adventures to seven different countries! I would recommend them very highly. Each and every trip was amazing. Some I went alone and was taken such good care of - always felt safe. The Tour Guides Lost World uses are top class. We had a problem in Buenos Aires, with a flight and were put up in a totally unacceptable hotel by the airline, we called our Lost World Adventures guide who came and picked us up and took us back to original hotel. Every where we went we were met and guided through all steps needed to make our vacations pleasurable and interesting. From the initial phone call to our return home all went so well, they listened to what we wanted and came up with it. Cannot wait for another Lost World Adventure!
