I think James is great at giving confidence and highlighting the things that you were at yourself think about highlighting. He is experienced, and that experience has allowed him to understand the process, and the applicants. He is a great confidence builder and support

The interview prep was really helpful. We analyzed each of my answers, and how to improve the approach, delivery and content. We also developed a framework to answer questions.

Dr. Katzen is an experienced interviewer and provided very thoughtful, targeted guidance on how to improve my responses. The first half of our session consisted of rapid fire interview questions, simulating a real interview; the latter half offered time for discussion and constructive critique. I feel much more prepared on how to approach certain types of common questions, thanks to Dr. Katzen.

Scheduling was very difficult to coordinate with multiple back and forth emails which could have been avoided. We took a more informal brainstorming session rather than going through a predefined list of questions. Throughout the "interview", I spent time explaining basics about the specialty I was applying into. I believe this could be experience could be helpful for medical school interview preparation but in my personal opinion, inadequate for a residency interview preparation.
