Pay attention to every single move that you do within their website; it could cost you some credits
(I've a membership with them). The web app is very good, easy to use and able to do its job (it is one of the best among the ones that I tried). But there's a problem: when I was building a map, it was casually eliminated, but obviously the credit balance went up (means that some credits were consumed for nothing, as I had to rebuild from scratch and consumed more credits). I wrote an email to the assistance but no answer. Just 10 minutes ago a setting was automatically changed and it didn't let me create a map by simply pasting the text into the chat (as I've been doing). And then, to restore the original situation, for every interaction with the bot, at least 5 credits were consumed. In the end, I'd suggest this web app, but after some improvements about the credits management and assistance. Updates: 1. They answered my email only after having done this review (5 days later this review), but they gave me 1000 credits for the problem. 2. I didn't renovate the membership because I don't need it anymore, but they are still trying to withdraw my money from the card which I used to pay for the first and only month, despite I went on my profile and selected the option "Don't renovate the subscription". Given the circumstances, I will proceed with deleting my account. I don't know if this behaviour is a bug or something else, but this is not right, so please correct this thing.

Hi Federico Mariani, Thank you for updating your review after we sorted out the first issue, and for being measured about the whole experience. To recap where we are: the map loss happened because the front end allowed two actions to be triggered at the same time while one was still being processed. That was a genuine bug on our side, our team has traced the root cause and fixed it, and the 1000 credits were to return what you spent rebuilding. I'm also sorry our first reply took as long as it did. On credit management more broadly, I want to make the model clear: manual actions (creating, editing, moving, and organising nodes yourself) cost zero credits. Only AI actions (generating or expanding a map with AI) consume credits. The real issue you hit was that a failed action was still charging credits, which should never happen, and that is exactly what the fix above addresses. That leaves one open item, the billing, and I want to be completely clear on it. No money has been taken from you. Because the monthly Pro plan was not cancelled during the first month, it reached its renewal date and our system automatically generated a charge for the next month. That charge failed because the card had insufficient funds, so nothing was deducted. When you then cancelled, the new billing period had already started, which is why you saw repeated attempts afterwards. Those were automatic retries on that same failed charge, not new charges. We have now voided that charge entirely, so the retries stop right away, and your subscription is confirmed as not renewing. If you'd still like to remove your account, you can do that yourself anytime under Account Settings. Because of this, we have also enabled an automatic reminder email that goes out 7 days before renewal for all customers. That gives anyone enough time to cancel if they don't want to continue. Thanks for giving us the chance to make this right. The feedback genuinely helped us fix things that needed fixing. Prasanth, MindMap AI
