American Academy of Protective TrainingReviews of myaapt.com

Great experience, very knowledgeable and easy-going trainers. Can’t wait to renew again.

I recently took my CVW training here, and it was a fantastic experience. All the instructors, specially Richard, were extremely helpful and patient, specially during range portion. They took time to answer every question and made sure everyone felt safe and confident. Highly recommend this class to anyone to get thier CCW permit.

After researching and reviewing a lot of the classes on the LAPD list, I am so glad I selected them for my completion of the CCW application. Based on the reviews on other schools, I was hesitant, and a little apprehensive hoping the instructors here were different then the other schools I read. Natalie was super informative, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly in the classroom training. She went over every module clearly and using current everyday examples to make the lesson extremely relatable and easy to understand. The range day was also excellent. The instructors, Richard and Natalie were very helpful always prioritizing safety first. I really appreciated that. They took their time showing everything you would need, from safety, to practicing drawing from your EDC items, to tips for better marksmanship. I can’t say enough on how happy I was to have went with them. Now that I was approved for my CCW license, I will be enrolling with them in the future for my renewals. Thank you so much Natalie and Richard for your training and expertise. Your tutelage is truly saving lives.
