9th Grade Homeschool History Curriculum
For my homeschooled 9th grader’s history class this year, we are using The Nomadic Professor’s US History curriculum. As the Supervising Teacher (the teacher at home who’s administering and guiding), I appreciate that: ~There is no narrative taught. There are just historical facts. ~The curriculum has its bases covered for all types of learners (auditory, visual, reading/writing, and kinesthetic) and uses logical and critical thinking skills. ~They have comprehensive answer keys and grading rubrics, making correcting and grading very simple. ~You can choose the difficulty level for your student, so it’s very flexible, allowing for several options in terms of high school credits. ~They make the learning curve for a new curriculum/platform fairly easy with a lot of guidance, and their customer service is very helpful and responds to questions quickly. Overall, we are extremely happy with our choice to use The Nomadic Professor for history!
