I just unsubscribed from OWL3D after about 8 months. This is due to youtube messing with my videos with their 3D overhaul, not due to anything OWL have done. It is actually a great product. It takes a bit of trial and error to get it how you want but when you do, it keeps the last settings, so all you need to do is drag and drop files from that point on. I did actually try the free one other people have mentioned in negative reviews here and I thought it was horrible. The interface was like going back to MS DOS on a 40 year old BBC Basic computer. I think it might be a very slight quality improvement but not one worth the trade off in shoddy user interface. The reviews saying it is hard to cancel is nonsense. It's right where you'd expect to find it in the app and doesn't make you faff on finding it like many big companies do. It just took me about 15 seconds to cancel. I did have a problem with my subscription at one point that I think I caused trying to swap payment date. I couldn't find the contact but a single google search brought the contact email up straight away and the guy replied straight away. I think for a company that to me has done a pretty damn good job, 3.7 is a pretty poor score in relation to the product, price and service. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again (and I probably will), or recommend them and I did mention them to friends I thought it might be useful to a few times over the course of this year. Really unfair review scores here in my experience. Great small company using AI for something fun that isn't taking anyone's job. It's not a substitute for filming in 3D, it's a way of bringing films and music videos you love to life in 3D. For me it was 300 3D music videos. As a side note, it seems to run locally too, so your personal files aren't leaving your PC. It's not at all invasive on your PC.
