Thank you so much for providing such a detailed rundown of your experience! Our goal is to provide the absolute best testing experience possible, and in doing so, gather genuine feedback from our patients to reflect our efforts. Our lab orders specifically request that Trichomoniasis tests are collected with a urine sample, however there are occasions where the lab tech only looks at the test title and not the collection method. In these instances, we are able to contact the processing facility directly and re-add the test to your existing sample and lab order. We are actively working on a solution with the directors at Quest to prevent this from happening and appreciate your understanding while the test processes. Thank you for reaching out to us. We will never charge our patients for tests that are unable to be performed, and will gladly process a refund for the affected tests as indicated in your result email. As of last week, all affected PSCs have re-ordered APTIMA kits which are now in supply, unfortunately you were tested last week before they arrived. Our director of patient services has reached out privately to ensure your concerns are addressed.
