We recently had a serious incident with Protos Security that put our guard and our company in a dangerous, embarrassing position. Dispatch sent our guard to a Target location in San Tan Valley, Arizona for an assignment. When he arrived and approached store management, he was accused of impersonating security. Store staff said they never requested coverage and called the police on him. Five police cars responded to the scene to identify our guard and figure out what was happening. We had to call Protos dispatch ourselves to sort it out while our guard stood there being questioned by police. It took almost an hour for dispatch to figure out the assignment was actually supposed to be in Texas, not Arizona. This kind of mistake is unacceptable. It put our guard’s safety at risk, damaged our company’s reputation with a location we’ve never even worked with, and wasted police resources over a dispatch error that should have been caught before an assignment was ever sent out. Address verification is a basic part of this job. When it fails, it’s not just an inconvenience, it’s a liability for the guard on the ground and for the company whose name is on that uniform. We expect better accuracy and accountability from a dispatch system that guard companies are trusting with real assignments and real safety.

The app does not work half the time. So, because of that we get tardy alerts even though we are trying to check in. We have to call almost every shift to get this taken care of. Other than that, we do get good customer service 95% of the time when we do have to call in.
