I spent about 30min earlier today at a walk in quest diagnostic location that I confirmed open on the quest website just prior to leaving the house. Myself and another gentleman were waiting. We then realized no one was there in spite of a woman's bag present in an empty room with all the correct and expected postage signs regarding employment drug testing. I finally left for another engagement. This is similar to my experience about two weeks ago when I had to go to multiple places to find one that was truly open and working in spite of the quest website saying otherwise. I tried calling quest to complain. The quest diagnostic service, at least in Detroit, has been proven to me to be incredibly unreliable. The location that I tried today that stated it was open and taking walk ins, but instead there was no one there, is 15885 Woodward Ave Suite 201, Highland Park, MI 48203. There was no sign up sheet. If you are able to get me an actual appointment with guaranteed personnel present at the time of said appointment with the ability to do and complete the test, I would appreciate it. If you are able to forward my heartfelt concerns or change the company where the drug screen is to be done or give me a location that is guaranteed reliable, that would be great.

I was with my adult son today, who is an EMT and a certified phlebotomist. Between health issues and his medical training, he has had blood drawn countless times. We are both in shock over his experience having his blood drawn for the doctor ordered labs today. The doctor's office contracts out to Quest Diagnostics so he had his blood drawn at the doctor's office. The woman who did his labs was the most inexperienced and unprofessional phlebotomist I have ever run across. She did not aim for a vein but instead just a place in his arm, then as the needle was in his arm she would fish around for a vein. After her first failed and painful attempt, my son had to show her where the entry point should be. Of course she did not listen but she did have a semi-successful 2nd attempt. She fished around for a vein, got a vein but the flow was minimal. She kept moving the needle all around in his arm. The vial kept popping out. She then tried to replace the vial with another one, but was not successful drawing blood into that vial. She ended up with approximately half a vial of blood. In addition, one of the vials without blood (needle and vial together) fell on the floor and she was just stepping on it and kicking it around. So strange. To complete her botched job, she did the worst gauze and tape job on his arm. Very surprised to see Quest still using tape. Labcorp uses a completely different product much better than tape. Very disappointed and surprised. If your doctor orders labs, you can choose where to have it done. My son will take the lab request paperwork with him in the future and go to a Labcorp. His insurance covers both.

I had to have blood work today. They were very prompt on boat club road. The young lady Miss Porcha was so sweet and gentle. I highly recommend them.

Quest Diagnostics in Palm Harbor is terrible both in practice and patient services. I do not recommend them whatsoever. I scheduled an appointment online and received a confirmation number (useless). My appointment was at 9:30 a.m. and I was in the waiting room at 9:15 and never left the area. On entering there is no receptionist, no way to reach anyone if there is a problem or concern. I check in through a text and then went to their kiosk which is supposed to make them more efficient and the process easier, but it was a joke. I checked in and that reflected on a huge monitor. As I sat in the waiting room. I witnessed them take the wrong patient back, and turn away a lady that was 1 minute past her appointment time (even though they state they have a 10-minute grace period). As time ticked away, I began to notice they were taking people back who signed after I did. I attempted several times to tell the employees who were grabbing people that an error occurred but that was like trying to talk to rats on a sinking ship - they ignored me and practically ran away. FINALLY, I had to get a loud and firm the woman said she would check and then disappeared again! When she came back she tried to blame me and said they called me did I leave the room? No, I was there the entire time, not on my phone, not reading...I think I know my own name. So, one hour to simply be seen to draw blood. I was not a walk-in. I was a confirmed appointment. They were rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic!

I have been going to Quest Lab at state road 54 in Florida for almost 10 years. I am a medicare member with a supplement. For the first time ever I was asked to sign an ABN( advanced beneficiary notice) for a PSA and a urine analysis I had never been asked that before, and I had valid ICD-10 codes for such tests. I felt so aggravated as I felt I was going to be ripped off. Dont go there- Pablo E. Acevedo, MD

Quest diagnostics at 601 W Union Ave, Bound Brook, NJ 08805 is horrible and has a rude lab techs. They need to be trained on well behavior with patients and they also need to understand that they are not doing free service or charity We went for a test and the lab tech was so rude and very unprofessional.

I had an appointment today, and I was thoroughly pleased. Israel, the young lady who took my blood was pleasant and EXCELLENT. I didn't feel a thing. I would highly recommend her. She gets 5 stars! Quest should be very proud to have such a good company ambassador.

I went to 2 different locations for testing, the first in Shelton CT and the person who took care of me should not work with people, period!! The second was on Main street Stratford CT, same experience, they were both just rude and bothered by doing their job. I refuse to ever go to either location ever again!! I finally got what I needed done at the Lordship CT office and the staff there were amazing!! Hire more people like that and watch these negative reviews go down. They were kind and so very helpful. Also stop advertising that you take walk ins, I was turned away twice!
