Very disappointed with my experience.
They closed the receptionist window—there is no human contact at all anymore. Everything is pushed to a machine, and it’s simply not working. While I was there, three other people (besides me) had to leave because we couldn’t get our questions answered through the system.
I waited, tried to speak with a technician, and unfortunately he seemed annoyed and was not helpful. In the end, I had to leave without getting what I needed—and now I have to go back again.
Please bring back some form of human interaction. Not everything can or should be handled by a machine. People need to be able to ask questions, especially when something isn’t straightforward.
This experience was frustrating and unnecessary.

My sister who is disabled visited Quest…
My sister who is disabled visited Quest for blood test and urine sample. She was unable to provide a urine so I was told we could drop it off later and to tell the rep that it was in the system. When I tried to deliver the sample, there was no one to give it to since there is no receptionist at Wuest. I knocked on the door and a person came storming out toward me. I smiled and held up the sample but was met with unbelievable rudeness, told to sign in and wait. “We are very busy and I don’t know.who you are”. She slammed the door in my face and walked away. Wait time the machine told me was 30 to 60 minutes, an unreasonable time to wait to drop off a tribe sample already in the system. I will not be using Quest ever again.

Super fast and easy
Super fast and easy. I like the way we make the appointment and the registration through a test, and as always the phlebotomist couldn't be nicer and more proffessional. Short and sweet!! :)

1 star is way too many stars ..
1 star is way too many stars ... I went in for a simple blood test and somehow left feeling like I’d participated in a low-budget survival game show.
First off, the waiting room had the energy of a DMV from 1997—except with more visible despair. I checked in, aged about three years, and then watched multiple people who came in after me get called back like they had some kind of VIP “actually alive” membership.
When I finally got called, the technician approached my arm like it personally offended them. I’m pretty sure they were aiming for a vein but emotionally committed to the general concept of my arm instead. At one point I considered asking if they were mining for oil.
The chair? Looked like it had seen things. Bad things. The kind of chair that whispers, “no one leaves here hydrated.”
And let’s talk about professionalism—if by professionalism you mean loudly discussing weekend plans while actively missing veins, then wow, 10/10.
By the time I left, I wasn’t sure if they had successfully drawn blood or just taken my will to live. Either way, I’m pretty confident they got something.
Would I go back? Only if it’s part of some elaborate punishment system or I lose a bet.

horrible website
Aside from one exception, all the phlebotomists themselves have been perfectly fine. Half the time, they're so smooth that I have left with barely even a bruise. The last time my toddler had to get blood drawn, we were in and out practically before we could even finish setting up the distraction and with barely a tear to be seen. IN THE OFFICE, everything is fine.
But the entire online system, from setting up an appointment to paying the bill is one of the worst I have ever seen. Until recently, their billing website legitimately looked like a scam site. It looked sketchy, you got redirected and prompted to login multiple times, and you had to put in ALL of the information (including the bill amount?).
The the couple of times I have made appointments online? All but one "didn't go through." The one that successfully had me listed as an appointment still left me with a TWO HOUR WAIT when I showed up 20 minutes early. I was told there had been an error in the system and that it had not correctly booked enough time for the appointments and they were running very behind, on top of still having a regular amount of walk-ins.This was for pregnancy related blood-work, and I had my toddler with me, so I (apparently incorrectly) made the assumption that an appointment would mean LESS time in the waiting room.
I made a full online account thinking it would make it easier to manage everything for my family. Instead, none of my children's information has ever populated for me to view online. I continue to have to login as a guest to pay each individual bill for the them, even when it all happened at the same time. Additionally, my older one is STILL listed as his own guarantor at the ripe of old age of not even 3 yet! I used to do medical registration! MINORS ARE NOT THEIR OWN GUARANTORS. MY HUSBAND OR I SHOULD BE LISTED ON EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS BILLS, NOT HIM. I have filled out every form I can find to try and get this corrected, and it has not changed! The best I've gotten is a half-assed auto response saying the usual "we care so much" BS! If I had any other options in my area/with our insurance, I'd never set foot in another Quest for the sole reason of their online "service" being some of the worst I've ever seen.

Worse than usual
The Positives: easy to schedule an online appointment and to check in once you get there.
The Negatives: There was no where in the room to hang a coat. The person who took my blood did not introduce herself, the seat provided was very difficult to get into, the phlebotomist did not communicate in any way. I am short and the arm rest was above my heart level making it hard for the blood to flow. Instead of lowering my arm, she kept jamming the testube further in making it very uncomfortable for me. No apology... a robot might have been better.
Lastly, and this is a continuing problem at this particular location in Manayunk, there is NO soap in the bathroom where you give urine samples. There are no paper towels and there is no trashcan. There is also nowhere to put a pocketbook or gang a coat in the bathroom. This is a major hygiene issue!!!
