As an RN... I'm very impressed with this company! They even analyze lab results you have taken at your physicians office! Even tho yours labs may be within standards "normal limits" they recommend how to optimize your health. I can't wait to get my final report ! My experience has been amazing thus far.. it can only get better!

Honestly, this is the absolute best website I have ever used in my life. The scope and layout are incredible. After I did Ancestry I used a lot of different programs and none came anywhere near as useful as this one. The research and knowledge that went into this product is phenomonal. Others like livewellio, prometheaus, genegenie etc are nothing compared to this. I highly recommend them. I really am astonished the cost is so low compared to the obvious amount of work that went into the site and the knowledge behind it. I really love this site.

Paid $97 for yearly subscription, and my first issue was that my account kept showing as inactive and wouldn't allow me to log in or reset password. Contacted support and 24 hours later the issue was fixed. Went to upload my 23andme DNA, upload took a minute or two, but again couldn't proceed any further as the spinner just went round indefinitely. I checked a couple of times - no luck so I decided to try again the next day. Another 24 hours later, my 23andme file is working and I can now generate reports. They do advise that the reports can take up to an hour to generate. I went ahead and generated the reports and after an hour or more nothing was working so wrote off to support again. And another 24 hours later, and the reports were generated and a message came back from support advising the things were slow because the service is very busy. Great! It's taken 4 days to get into the reports now but never mind, I'm excited to see what they contain. About 10 custom reports, and the only information they contained was advice to exercise, meditate/do yoga, drink more water and have good sleep. Good advice certainly for every living human being, but nothing worth paying a $97 subscription for. The site itself seems very unfinished/buggy and there are quite a few buttons and menus so I wondered if I'd missed something. I emailed support asking if there was some missing functionality or anything else I should be doing here but the response was, in a word, no. This was the product, but don't worry, there are new features coming all the time and these reports are very much relevant and based on your own unique DNA profile. I politely asked for a refund, and 6 days later I have no response at all. I filed a claim with PayPal at the same time and they haven't responded to that either so PayPal should be returning my money in the next couple of days. Disappointing and not recommended :(

When I dropped my raw data from 23 and me into their analyzing feature, I was given an amazing amount of information that will benefit my health for years. The best part are the customized reports for each gene and for certain conditions. Everything is explained thoroughly and “fixes” are included. When you know what genes variants you have, you can make lifestyle changes to mute their expression to achieve better overall physical and mental health.

The advice from Self Decode has been well thought out, scientifically-based, not extreme, and has also given me confidence in the things I already knew about what things are good and bad for me. I now know ( DNA based )I can’t drink alcohol without having some broccoli sprouts, before I just knew that I was more affected by alcohol than most of my friends or family.

I find the site very informative. The blog has info related to your genes and certain medical conditions. Also you can see possible bad genes. There is just some many things to explore.
