At no point in the ordering process, was I notified that some of my items were on backorder! Sorry, but, in 2024, this is an unforgivable sin! Some of the items in my order were NEEDED for a job, the following week, and, if I'd known they were on backorder, I would've purchased elsewhere!

I have been ordering products from SPC for my telecom training room for years. Until now I have had no problems. I ordered a pretty expensive Fiber OLTS with some accessories and the ST adapter does not fit ST connectors. I called and they wanted me to ship back the bad part before sending a replacement. I almost returned the test set, but SPC agreed to ship me the replacement part first and then I would return the bad part. The replacement part (ST adapter) does not fit ST connectors either. I wonder where they are getting their adapters and if anyone is doing "Quality Control"? I will be contacting them next week about this issue and am very disappointed. I don't have additional time to devote to this situation.

My very first order was an OTDR launch cable. It was DOA. I emailed customer service for a replacement but no response. When I called I got hassled on the phone about cross-shipping the replacement. Got hassled about overnight shipment of the replacement. Got hassled about testing the replacement before it went out the reseller's door...they didn't want to test it to make sure this one worked. The launch cable was supposed to be 150 meters but it is only around 117 meters. Not cool.

Originally ordered a security key screwdriver, product shipped and arrived as desired. I also needed a Ripley miller 100 wire stripper that I attempted to order today from your website. After selecting wire stripper I could not log in. Website would not honor my password. So I clicked on email password. I went to inbox to discover the password I was attempting to use was indeed correct. After going back to website to put in password again I was locked out. So I tried creating an account in my wife's name, only to be told after filing out all the information and clicking place order that "Credit card # is invalid". I ended up purchasing wire stripper from a competitor.

I was charged originally twice, once with state taxes added, and once without. The money for both amounts was deducted from my checking account for several days, until the amount with taxes added finally cleared. I did have enough funds in my checking account to keep from bouncing checks, although I can see how this might be a problem for someone else.
