The nerd made updates without checking on my system or asking me about backups, causing more of his work to fix his mistake. Instead of charging me for the time it took him to sort my problem only as he told me (which at the end wasn't sorted), he charged me for the whole time. It cost me 6 times more!

Rife with discrimination and devoid of accountability, these individuals are utterly unwilling to shoulder any responsibility towards technicians, while demanding unwavering commitment from them. Such blatant double standards are despicable and reek of hypocrisy.

Unfortunately, we do not allow technicians to operate outside of the country they select when they onboard their account, unless the techs provide documentation which prove they have the rights to work in that country. It was flagged by our team that you were operating outside of the US, therefor, we could no longer allow you to work on our platform. We strive to have local Nerds helping customers. Please feel free to reach out when are you are able to provide the relevant documents or keep an eye out for when we are live in your location.

Complete scam! After you pay for services not rendered…. Once they get your account information they will continue to deduct 24-30 dollars every 1-2 days. Complete scam

The current management system appears to lack adequate provisions for fair evaluation and resolution of customer reviews. The platform prioritises exclusively 5-star ratings, creating a situation where lower-rated technicians are at disadvantage. In addition, attempts to appeal negative reviews are met with evasive responses that fail to address the concern in question. These issues as well as others suggest there may be room for improvement in the platform's customer review and feedback processes.

The worst! If I could leave negative stars I would. This site is an absolute scam. I scheduled an appointment at 4:45pm PST, the technician who was assigned to me (Haesong H.) never got back to me. On top of that I tried to reach customer service and I couldn't get ahold of anyone. I tried calling and using the chat support (which is a joke!) and I still haven't heard from anyone. To top it off I wanted to cancel the job since I hadn't heard from anyone and it was already 3 hours past the appointment time, and the app tells me that if I cancel, I will get NO refund back. Such a horrible service and I'll be reviewing it on other sites to raise awareness of this scam to other people, so that they don't get scammed and ripped off either. I will be taking it up with my bank.

I have reviewed the job and saw that the Nerd did respond instantly via chat however their communication was not up to our standard at all and I can see why you may have thought it wasn’t legit. This is not the way we run our platform and measures will be taken for remediation. I have responded to you via chat and all notification channels to let you know that you will certainly get a refund and asked if we can send a new Nerd to assist and this will be at our cost as well. Contacted NERDApp this afternoon for online support to remove my email account from my laptop, he then offered to clear everything of my laptop and just leave Microsoft on it, he tried to do it but when walked away to do something and came back he was looking at other stuff and advised it had stopped. Then advised he had not done this before so just asked him to stop at that stage.
