I have had a fantastic experience working as a freelance QA tester on Tester Work. The test instructions for each application are always clear, structured, and easy to follow, which makes the testing process smooth and enjoyable. Most importantly, their payment system is 100% legitimate and reliable—I have completed several test cycles and received my payouts smoothly without any issues. Moving forward, I hope to see even more frequent test invitations and broader project opportunities for testers in my region. Thank you to the entire Tester Work team for providing such a great and trustworthy platform

I have been working as a tester with Tester Work (Global App Testing) and recently experienced a severe issue with payout transparency and support handling (Ticket #103931). 1. Misleading Invitation Payouts: Test cycles are advertised with high total payouts (e.g., ~$235 USD). However, these global test suites contain non-executable test cases reserved for other regions. A tester in a specific country can never physically earn the full advertised amount, making the invite payout figure misleading. 2. Financial Penalties for Platform Technical Limits: Because the platform lacks automatic regional filtering, testers are instructed to set non-applicable foreign test cases to "Skipped" to complete their assigned run. Support explicitly admitted in writing that their system cannot dynamically filter test cases by country. Despite following all guidelines and completing 100% of the executable regional scope, the platform automatically deducted ~$50 USD from my final payout simply because those items were marked as "Skipped". 3. Unresponsive Management Escalation: After front-line support declared their decision "final," I escalated the matter directly to Global App Testing management. After weeks of silence and no resolution regarding these unfair deductions, I am sharing this experience publicly. Conclusion: Testers should not bear the financial cost of a platform's technical inability to filter regional test cases. I am open to updating this review once management reviews Ticket #103931 and settles the outstanding balance.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for joining your first test cycle with us! We're glad to hear that you received your payment successfully. We understand your concern about not seeing additional opportunities right away. Invitations are sent based on project requirements, such as device type, location, and tester profile, so availability can vary from time to time. We encourage you to keep your profile and device information up to date, as this helps increase your chances of being matched with future projects. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you to more testing opportunities soon! 😊

The platform has always been promising test project but I got nothing for the past 2 years. Recently they implemented tester certification such that if tester did not pass the quizzes, they won’t have access to the certificate, they said passing will open tester profile to more test project m opportunity, I completed all the courses and my certificates was sent to my mail, up to this very moment I did not received a single task to work on.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear that you haven't received any project opportunities recently despite completing the QA Academy and earning your certification. While certification can help strengthen a tester's profile, project invitations depend on a variety of factors, including client requirements, location, device availability, and testing demand at a given time. We appreciate the time and effort you've invested in the platform and hope you'll have the opportunity to participate in a project soon. Thank you for being part of the Tester Work community.

As I am still in the early stages of exploring the platform, I want to take a bit more time before providing a definitive rating. However, my initial impression is quite positive, and I am confident that as I dive deeper into the testing cycles and project workflows, I will be able to offer a much more comprehensive and detailed evaluation soon.
