This was my second Meat Stick as I moved from the IV to the V for the increased heat capacity. Still very pleased with the product!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the upgrade from the MeatStick 4 to the MeatStick V. That extra heat resistance really makes a difference for those high-temp cooks. We appreciate your continued support and wish you many more perfect cooks ahead! 🔥

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. There was a mix-up in the shipment, but we see you’ve already received your order. We’ve also spoken with UPS and confirmed everything is sorted out and no extra charges applied. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Not only is this the best wireless meat probe I’ve ever used, but MeatStick is one of the best companies I’ve ever dealt with when it comes to customer service! The probe performs flawlessly and provides you with all the information you need to monitor your cook. The probe is very easy to setup, just charge it up, download the app and you are ready to cook. The app keeps you well informed with the ambient temp of your cooker, the internal temperature of your meat as well as the duration of the entire cook. The charger also serves as the extender which communicates with your phone. The probe and charger are well made and easy to operate. I would recommend this probe to everyone who enjoys cooking, grilling, or smoking to keep track of temps!

I've been using Meatsticks since the orriginal MS1. During that time there have been many technical issues. Some in design, some in communicating with the user. It looks like these were growing pains. Tech support has been great and every stick that didn't meet expecations was replaced. The meatstick 5 seems to be the result of all those growing pains. I've been using mine since it's been released and it's been rock solid. No massive issues, complicated activation and update procedures have been simplified. I only have 2 'quibbles' the first being able only upload 1 picture thru the app, I use videos to demonstrate issues and streamline the back & forth with tech support. To do this I have to place the files on my cloud drive and send them a link. Being able to upload the file thru the app would save a lot of time. The second is even though the stick is thinner and doesn't have to be fully inserted anymore it's just a little to long for things like chicken thighs if it's part of a crowded skllet. If a shorter version like the MS Chef could be designed incorporating the MS5 reliability I'd buy one.

Thanks for sticking with us since the first MeatStick and for the 5-star review! Great to hear MeatStick V has been rock solid for you. We’ll pass your suggestions on video uploads and a shorter probe to our team for consideration. Happy cooking!

Stop claiming your meat stick will operate and function like you claim. It just ain’t so, complete garbage.
Response from The MeatStick· Sep 9, 2025
Thanks for your feedback. We had already sent you a replacement set as a goodwill gesture since your original one was outside its warranty period. We hope you’ll give the new set a try and share how it works for you. If you run into any trouble, our team is always ready to help.
