I saw an advertisement from Thin Optics USA advertising a new model said to be more durable with nose pads breaking less, my first pair off face book from the USA lasted years so I bought a replacement pair from my local Australian distributor Eye Logic thinking I would receive the new model. After a couple of months light usage reading restaurant menu's etc one of the nose pads broke off I contacted Eye Logic and was told that they only had the old stock not the improved model and they would honor a replacement but it would cost $10 postage and if I dint like that I should buy direct from the USA, seriously? I used to show everyone these glasses but now I just tell everyone how fragile they are and to not bother!

EXCELLENT ATTENTION

Flimsy for a lot of money. Bought them at Zoom Market in Dubai (JLT). First set nose piece was already missing. Was not a problem and got new set. Which I opened in the shop just to make sure. The nose piece was on until I tried to remove the protective foil. Just by holding the glasses between thumb and index finger it fell off. What a flimsy product for that kind of money. I have thrown them away right there and then. What a waste of money and recourses.

I used my thinoptics readers every day for over two year and a few days ago they broke. I tried to order new readers. But their support told me, they will send me new readers at no cost for me. Jake from their support helped me a lot to get my new readers. I'm very appreciated with their products and support.

Great company with a very handy product that I struggle to live without now that I depend on them. Replacements are easy and affordable. Customer service excellent. I only wish they could last longer before breaking in half.

The nose pads fell off, so I asked for new ones. I only needed the pads, they sent me a new pair of glasses. I don´t know if it is just an impression, but this one they sent me is more clear than the one I bought three years ago. The product is much better. Congrats.

Tracking me down during a vacation and with a new cell phone w/o the voicemail set up was not an easy task, but Ann in Customer Service did. ThinOptic glasses allows me the great convenience w/my phone, store labels, and restaurant menus. Even better, when I stealthily pull them from my phone to my nose there's always a chuckle from an onlooker. Love the product and the service I got! (please only post 1st name - thanks)
