I was supposed to receive my order in…
I was supposed to receive my order in two days...it took seven. Having paid forty dollars for shipping, I should it should not have taken that long.

Hi Andy, I'm sorry you felt deceived by us, but I think I know the confusion. I would never tell a customer we can get them their plates in 2 days, that's just not possible for us. However, I often tell customers that our lead time is 2 to 3 days. Our lead time, unfortunately, just refers to how long it takes us to get it out of our shop, not how long it takes to get the plates into your hands. Maybe that is where we got our wires crossed? You placed your order on Wed Nov 21 and we fulfilled that Saturday on the 24th. That is 3 business days. I'm actually quite proud of that turnaround, not many people can match that. I am sorry it was disappointing for you. From there, it's just a FedEx ground shipment and they take however long they take. They picked it up Monday and delivered it to you that Friday morning. 5 days does seem like a long time for them to get from Central Texas to Virginia but I hope you can understand we don't really have a lot of control over how long FedEx takes. Likewise, on the price, your order was 35 lbs. I wish we could get some better rates with FedEx and UPS, but that's just what they charge us to deliver 35 lbs across the country.
