It is a singularly useless piece of misleading nonsense. Far too expensive and certainly NOT worth not only the money, but neither the time and trouble. Have tried it for a few months, and regret being hoodwinked into buying this worthless crap.

total scam
total scam. the AI stuff is just marketing. only end of day data which you have to pay 30 bucks per month. no intraday analysis capabilities.

Response from VantagePoint Software· Jan 10, 2025
At VantagePoint, we take all reviews seriously and value the opportunity to address concerns directly. We want to clarify some of the points you raised.
Proven AI Technology: Our A.I.-powered software uses dual-patented technology to forecast market trends with up to 87.4% proven accuracy. This is based on analyzing global intermarket relationships, not just marketing claims. We were the first company in the world to bring A.I. to independent traders, going all the way back to 1991. Over 40,000 traders have used VantagePoint to make more informed decisions and improve their outcomes.
Intraday Trading: VantagePoint is primarily designed for swing and position traders, utilizing data to provide predictive forecasts 1 - 3 days in advance. This strategic approach aligns with our mission to empower traders with actionable insights, but we also have many day traders who take advantage of our price range predications and other market forecasting data.
License Policy: Our lifetime license model offers exceptional value, granting you perpetual access to the software. As with most software licenses, it is non-transferable to protect the integrity of the product and our other VantagePoint Family Members.
Monthly Data Fee: The monthly data fee you mentioned covers acquisition of high-quality, up-to-date data essential for our forecasts. This is a standard practice across the industry.
We're committed to transparency and excellence. If you’d like to discuss your concerns further or reconsider your opinions and join the VantagePoint Family, as you are not currently a VantagePoint user, our world-class Support Team is here to assist you. Please reach us at 1-800-732-5407.

A Painful Sales Experience and Overhyped Claims
I recently attended a webinar for VantagePoint's trading software, and what followed was one of the most frustrating sales experiences I’ve ever encountered. After the webinar, I received two back-to-back calls from sales representatives who used cliché and irritating sales tactics like, “What would you do with all the trading profits you'll make with the system?” It felt incredibly pushy and unprofessional.
I had to reschedule for work reasons, but the next day was no better. I joined a Teams presentation on the software, and it turned out to be just as bad, if not worse. The rep spent most of the time making obnoxious, overblown claims about the software’s accuracy while pushing overpriced packages. When I politely explained I had to leave for work, the rep turned aggressive, insisting I choose a package on the spot. I reiterated that I wanted time to think it over, but he wouldn’t let it go. When I thanked him for the presentation, he snapped at me, claiming I “obviously didn’t appreciate the presentation” because I didn’t purchase anything immediately. This was completely out of line, and I ended the call right then and there.
Being skeptical, I decided to dig into their claims, particularly their so-called "Independent Third-party Accuracy Study of VantagePoint." For context, I hold a Ph.D. in business with a minor in applied statistics, so I know how to evaluate accuracy claims critically. Here’s what I found:
#### Directional Matches for Typical Price Predictions:
- For Apple Inc., the directional match accuracy of VantagePoint’s predictions was 64.71%, compared to 60.00% for a naive model.
- This is a meager improvement of just 4.71%, far from the groundbreaking performance their sales team claims. Accuracy improves with the use of their set of proprietary indicators (which you will have to purchase and which were mentioned during their initial sales pitch).
#### Trade-offs in Signed Forecasts:
- While VantagePoint reduces directional bias slightly, the standard deviation of errors (e.g., 2.37 vs. 2.47 for Apple) shows little improvement. For a system touted as revolutionary, these gains are unimpressive.
#### Challenges with Volatile Markets:
- In highly volatile scenarios, like Shopify or REX, their so-called Neural Index accuracy dipped to as low as 57.48%, barely outperforming random guessing.
#### Disappointing Short-Term Crossover Performance:
- The short-term crossover success rate for VantagePoint predictions was 63.11%, only 5.46% better than a simple standard crossover system (57.65%).
- When additional filters (like the Neural Index) were applied, the success rate increased only slightly, to 64.14%, a marginal 1.03% gain.
- Notably, the naive model outperformed VantagePoint in 16% of cases, with some markets showing differences of up to 11.6% in favor of the naive model.
#### Additional Warning:
The pricing is absurd. Packages start at $2,900 for just a single sector (out of 16). If you want all equity sectors, you’re looking at over $10,000. And that’s not all—VantagePoint’s accuracy report mentions “proprietary indicators,” but you will likely have to purchase these separately after the initial investment! Expect some aggressive upsell sales techniques once you're on the hook.
I also did some digging on forums and found troubling accounts from former sales employees. They confirmed that reps are heavily incentivized to pressure customers into giving their credit card numbers upfront, only to upsell additional products later. This is the only way to come even close to the accuracy claims advertised.
No trial? No problem? Think again. You’ll have only 14 days to cancel your purchase—no trial is offered at all. If this doesn’t scream “sketchy,” I don’t know what does.
In short, VantagePoint’s software offers, on average, minimal improvements over basic prediction models while being paired with an overpriced and aggressive sales pitch. The entire experience left me frustrated, insulted, and skeptical. If you’re considering this software, I strongly recommend you take their claims with a grain of salt and do your own thorough research before spending a dime (>$10K for any reasonable assortment of equities).

Rude Sales Team
Avoid this company, the salesperson who called me was rude and only wanted my personal information. It was a bad experience and he hung up on me when I declined to provide my personal financial situation and stock trading history.

Thank God I wasn't stupid enough to…
Thank God I wasn't stupid enough to fall for there product. I honestly have to say that this company has some of the worst sales people that I have ever run across. Zero personality. pushy, rude, no closing skills whatsoever. Every time they call It's a new and horrible experience. I would never give them a penny of my money. Stay away from them they have horrible reviews.
Response from VantagePoint Software· May 4, 2023
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear your experience with our representative did not meet your expectations. We're also surprised that you gave a negative review about an entire company based on one short (1min 17 seconds) phone interaction since that is not necessarily a fair representation of our company as a whole or the software itself. We’d like to clarify that while our representatives are trained to provide excellent complimentary market forecasts, their primary focus is not solely on ‘closing’ deals, as you put it. We're committed to offering powerful artificial intelligence that helps traders make informed decisions for their trading strategies. We would love the opportunity to show you the full capabilities of our software and how it can benefit your trading. We appreciate your time and consideration, and hope that you'll give us a chance to earn your trust in the future.

After attended the seminar
After attended the seminar, It looked pretty good so I purchased the software on Feb-9-2023 all 16 sectors for $6386.75 . On the same day, I also purchased the data feed yearly subscription for $397. Before I purchased, I asked the sale rep to see if the software can help to give me an edge or not, I am a scalper, trading gap up at beginning of each day. The sale rep confirmed that the software will extremely gives me a strong edge. I spent 5 hours that evening to install and test the software. What they claimed covering 16 sectors of US Stock is a big B.S. They only have around 1400 tickers in all 16 sectors!!! Every single ticker in my portfolio was not included in their software and I had to submit a ticket to add my ticker into their software. Next morning, I tried to input all 15 gap up stocks (premarket) and out of 15 gap up tickers only 1 ticker registered (TSLA) so I called and asked, they said they only select certain tickers out of 16 sectors. if I submit my tickers, they will review for 3,4 months and good chance they won't add it either due to blah blah blah software can't predict. So I requested to refund. They then sent another email asked me to call in to schedule a session with them. I called again several times to request a refund. Each time, the put me on hold to contact their refund department and informed me that the refund department is so busy, they will call me back. I can see why their refund department is so busy due to a lot of requests to refund like me (I guess.) Either that or they tried to drag on the time to go past their 15 days deadline of refund. 1st the refund request has to be within 15 days from the date of purchase, 2nd I have to sign the Termination Agreement sent from them within 10 days! I have been requested refund and Termination Agreement for me to sign but nothing has happened. I had to call my Credit Card and filed a dispute before the 15 days deadline approach. I hope this software is working out for someone and helping them but if you plan to purchase, think twice before you spend otherwise, it would be a nightmare to get a refund. However, their data feeder Tradersonly.com refunded immediately $397 on the next day

I purchase the lifetime membership of…
I purchase the lifetime membership of Vantagepoint AI last December, for the get go it was always to add/buy one more item for their system to help enhance their system to achieve the 84% that is guaranteed. Well, I gave it all college tried, what it seems that it is doing is reacting to the market previous data to decide, that would be fine, however after several testing in following their trends and losing a lot of money, it did not work for me. So, I invite me friend who is a very successful trader in his own right to trade with me using the Vantage system, his response after a week is "this is false, I am going to stick to my own strategy." I was like well ok, maybe there was something I missed in the use of the 4 indicators and the Larry Jones. So, I tried to reach my coach Joe Ayala by phone call, txt, and email to get more insight on the software and the market for the past 3 weeks and got no response. It took me having to leave a nasty message to get any response. It should have never got to this for a company that is responsible and claim to have a(not) great product. I have requested my money back because of my dissatisfaction, then got a call from a guy that try to justify his company. I am requesting my money back. Your product does not work for me, and you should not think it would work for everyone.

No Trial period. Save your time, energy and money for something else more productive.
I agree with JC Collins. I won't repeat what he said since this can be read with an easy search, but I agree very much.
Bottom line: They need to provide a way to Trial the product for 1-2 weeks so that the customer can truly decide that it is a good fit for their needs or not.
My price for finding out more about the product was receiving what I paid minus the $495 "cancellation fee".
I also felt like I was pressured by the "salesperson" who was described by the moderator as a person who will answer all of my questions. This saleperson was there to collect my $$$$ and quickly move on to the next one.
Like JC Collins, I'm retired. I've saved, invested and have enough for a very nice retirement. That was not the issue.
The product, I was sold, does not provide information for all Stocks, ETFs, etc. It ONLY provides the information to the customer for those where its high standards are met. About 12, twelve, of my 40 Dividend paying stocks were found and information provided for. When searching for others on my ideas list... same ratio of success.
After finding this out I CANCELLED my subscription. This was also a frustrating ordeal...
BUYER BE WARE! It cost me $495 to find this out.
Allowing the customer/prospective customer a 1-2 week trial period with the product would have solved my issue. There is also a separate fee for the Data service from a separate company and cost that is required. Why not include this with the cost of the product? Also include this either free of charge or at a minimal cost to the customer.
1. THIS PRODUCT DID NOT MEET MY NEEDS.
2. I WAS VERY UNEASY DURING THE SALES HUSTLE AND PRESSURE TO GET INTO MY WALLET.
3. I HAVE FRUSTRATED WHEN TRYING TO GET THINGS CANCELLED.
Recommended: Save your time, energy and money for something else that is more productive and meets your needs. Mine were definitely not met.
