Good fundamentals - Way too expensive
The Pros: Good long term focus on building strength and nutrition. I like that they specifically state it is not a quick fix. The foundational elements of nutrition and strength training are solid. The Cons: Very, very expensive for remote consulting - about $500/month and they want it all up front so you pay for a year whether the program is working or not. You fill out the same evaluation form every week, track your meals and workouts, and your coach sends you a voice message telling you your doing great. You have a monthly 30 minute zoom call. I joined because I wanted to lose fat. I followed the program for 10 months and definitely had stronger muscles, but did not make any meaningful changes in my overall shape. I gained 10 lbs of muscle and lost 10 lbs of fat; my waist decreased by around 3". My coach kept telling me I needed more consecutive weeks consistently hitting macros before we could try reducing, but with my constant travel for work, it was impossible to stay consistent for 8 straight weeks. I also don't really like virtual communities, so I listened to the recordings, but never participated in the team calls (also because they were usually during dinner time with my family). In the end, I am really sorry I spent this much money. I can join a local fitness program and workout with a trainer twice a week for $250 a month - half of what WarriorBabe costs - and get personalized training and real time feedback on form. And I can use MyFitnessPal to track macros. Meanwhile, it will take me another year to pay off the $6000 I put on my credit card.
