Before switching to a raw food diet every couple of months our lab would have issues with his food…throwing up, etc. We tried switching to a specialized dry food, that worked for a little while, until it happened again. So we switched to what we thought was a “better” made dry food. Same thing. Feeding our lab a raw food diet has made his life, and ours, so much better! No more vet visits every couple months! Any future dogs will definitely be fed raw!

This is an excellent product and I believe in my humble opinion a healthier option for your dog companion. I switched Blue over from Farmer's Dog (also a quality choice) to We Feed Raw and he loves it. It is a completely different motivation to the chow bowl! Thanks for the support and I will continue permanently!

The customer service is outstanding. Our dogs are thriving with the raw food, our Great Pyrenees are allergy free since we switched, we noticed also a difference in the thickness of fur and the teeth are better. Our Irish wolfhounds are muscular and have beautiful healthy fur. They all love the food. Sadly one of them could not hold it down, without problems we switched to freeze dried and it has the same great results. Again, fantastic customer service, helpful and quick response.

My dog is a picky eater and we have tried several brands, we feed raw is his favorite. It was the first time he sat at his bowl and ate until it was gone. Though I’ve had a couple problems, delivery being one, they handled it like right away, that’s when I knew we would stay with them. Their response times have been great

I decided to give this a try, following their advice by mixing 1-inch squares into my dogs’ regular food. One dog refused to eat it, probably because she’s had better quality raw meats from me than this pasty stuff. The other ended up with diarrhea but was fine once I stopped the raw meat. Now I’m cooking it instead, but one dog won’t touch the beef, and the other doesn’t like the turkey. I’m back to baking chicken legs and thighs, ground turkey, and ground beef with some brown rice and veggies, and the dogs are happy and pooping well again. I canceled my trial as soon as I noticed what was happening. I’m not sure why the dogs don’t like some of the food raw or cooked, but I’m definitely not buying it again. The food is so finely ground that it has a pasty consistency. They also provided a powder called a tasty digestive support mix-in, which, if left sitting too long, turns into a thick mush. You have to add water to loosen it up again. Some dogs lick their food, while others pick it up with their teeth. I have two lickers, and they can’t get any of it because it’s so sticky. I end up adding water to break it down so they can eat it, but 80% of the time, and throwing it away because they refuse to eat it. I waste more than they consume. My male dog has gone three days without touching this stuff, cooked or raw, so there must be something wrong with it. I spent a lot of money on this food, and after the trial period, it cost over $170 for 13.1 lbs. I’ll stick to buying fresh and grinding it into thicker or larger chunks, not an unidentifiable paste (probably organ meat, which is good for them anyway). At least then I’ll know what’s in their food. HEY! WE FEED RAW? If you want the rest back, send me a full refund, and I’ll gladly return what’s left. Update: 6/3/2026 - I did fail to mention that I did call to talk about the transition process and what was going on with customer service. When I asked for a refund, the lady told me to try another way to incorporate the food and use less then slowly build up the We Feed Raw food more each week till they built a tolerance to the digestion phase. By the time we tried different things that was recommended to us, the 30 days were over, and we didn't bother to call back. We just cooked it and fed it to the bigger dogs that will eat anything you put in front of them. Don't feel bad. They didn't like some of the other food companies out there that claim how great their food is. I just have really picky finicky dogs, and I have to make it. I was just trying to free up some of my time in this cooking process. Oh well, you're the 4th company I tried and it's failed.

I have been using their product for about 2 years or so.... changed from Viva Raw as their product quality had gone down hill.....VERY happy with We feed Raw....great quality.... easy to change, hold or move up subscriptions.... great customer service. Wish they also had cat formulas...but I just feed my cats my dogs raw food.....they eat it as they desire. Hoping for more proteins in the future ie: Bison or ?? Great food & people

Overall has been decent. Due to changes in shipping our order was delayed and as a result we ran out of food. So that was a little frustrating. But the food quality appears good and my dogs enjoys it so far.
