I'm pretty sure this company is a scam. If I could give them negative stars I would. I've made 22 phone calls in trying to get several appliances fixed. When I call they often can't access my account (apparently they are going to through a merger and only some of the people can access my account). They claim someone will call back and NO ONE calls back. I can't talk with a supervisor. I would NEVER recommend this company.

Absolute bullshit company
Absolute bullshit company!
I can't understand why a SCAM company could survive this long! Or maybe I do! They DENY 99% of claims so they can afford lavish lifestyles! Mine was very straightforward a repair on a new AC unit...They called me saying "we dont support cleaning"! CLEANING!?? It's a leak and the company doing the check agreed with me! The assessor promptly hang up! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

On March 24
On March 24, I called 2-10 Home Warranty to cancel my renewal and was assured that my account had been canceled and would not renew in April. Unfortunately, I did not immediately notice that they continued charging my credit card every month for the next six months for a renewal I had never authorized.
When I called customer service today, I waited on hold for an extremely long time. The representative confirmed that the company has a recording of my March 24 call in which I clearly stated that I did not want to renew. She told me the matter would be sent to the accounting department and that I would receive a refund.
Instead, after charging me a total of $363.92, the company imposed a cancellation fee of $319.85. This is completely unacceptable. I properly canceled the renewal, and the company’s own recording confirms it. I expect a full refund of every unauthorized charge, with no cancellation fee.
I am a Realtor with Compass, and we have traditionally recommended 2-10 Home Warranty to our clients. Based on this experience and the company’s handling of the matter, I will no longer recommend 2-10 Home Warranty. I will never use this company again.

We have used the 2-10 Home Buyers…
We have used the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty for several years and submitted only minor claims. Recently, the power went out on the second floor of our home during a holiday weekend. Because we could not reach anyone and medical equipment was required in the affected bedroom, we had no choice but to hire an emergency electrician.
Despite the urgent circumstances, 2-10 refused to provide even partial reimbursement. We also experienced delayed contractor scheduling and frustrating claim denials. Reaching a representative was extremely difficult. We were repeatedly placed in callback queues with wait times of up to eight hours, and the situation continued for several days.
I would not recommend 2-10. Our experience reflected poor customer service, unreasonable delays, indifference to an urgent customer need, and an unacceptable lack of access to a representative when assistance was needed most.

2-10 Warranty is not doing the job
2-10 Warranty is not doing the job its paid to do. I will be looking for a diffrent warranty company. They do not answer phone calls and when they do their customer service agwnts do not know how to help, they continue to patch you to the bot. They also dont communicate with the builders properlly to enforce the work orders requested. Work orders would be closed without the builder or 2-10 confirming that the work order has been fix or even checked. Please avoid 2-10 warranty if you want to avoid future headaches.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. This company is a rip off and will only take your money. I just bought a new house and was in the market for a home warranty company which my realtor suggested 2-10. I searched their plans and coverage and seemed great. Paid for the annual platinum plan and had to wait a month for effective date of use (no problem).
As soon as my plan became effective, my HVAC system malfunctioned, so I put in a service request for them to schedule a vendor. That was on Sept 6th, and on Sept 9th I called to get a status update and they informed me they could find someone in my area and were working the request. Be warned, English is not the first language for their representatives (not a problem but language barrier is there). I gave the service dept the contact for the HVAC installer and they said they would contact them. I called on Sept 11th to see if they scheduled with the vendor I provided them and they told me they couldn’t get in contact with them. After the weekend, I called on Sept 14th to see if they had a service date for me, which they said they were unable to get with my recommended vendor for the second time. I demanded that I be allowed per the contract to have outside authorization for me to find someone and get this issue fixed with reimbursement of services paid for. They agreed, and within 1 hour, I had a service date scheduled with the same vendor I told them to call. The vendor informed me that no one has called regarding my property.
Now comes the frustrating part and their lack of costumer service. Per instructions for outside authorization, I had to call them to inform the service dept of my vendor and date, which I complied and that was on Sept 15th. They proceeded to tell me their guidelines for services rendered and what had to be met to get reimbursed… insured vender, LLC number, etc. The sticking point is that once the issue is diagnosed, the contractor has to call them and provide all that information and the diagnoses of the problem. 2-10 service dept then has to approve any work to be done or the consumer comes out of pocket. And they have 2-3 business days to make the approval on top of that. This conversation had been going back and forth for approximately 1.5 hrs at this point.
So I got mad, and told them I wanted my service fee refunded, to cancel my contract and refund the annual premium I just paid for. I had already been on hold multiple times during the 1.5 hr call and they proceeded to transfer me to their sales dept to discuss refunding my money. At this point I was personally invested to completing this, and I was on hold another 2.5 hrs and then the answered and quickly hung up the phone.
Immediately following that hang up, I called the sales dept back, they immediately answered and when I expressed my displeasure, they told me I had to deal with the cancellation dept and they just closed for the day and to call back.
Be warned, DO NOT give this company a time of day or any money. Horrible services rendered and even more horrible customer service.

I am a realtor and the service received…
I am a realtor and the service received by this company has been deplorable. I have a client with no AC. Our 210 representative has promised directly to me and to the client that she would be responsible for a service fee and 2-10 would repair or replace her hvac. It has been several days with no ac and no commitment from 2-10. She is unable to remain in her own home. They even offered to deliver a temporary ac unit and then stopped responding. What a scam.

Save your money their business model is to create hoops and not pay claims
Since there are no options to give negative stars... save your money. Their business model is to run you through so many hoops you give up. They will NOT call you back. They will NOT authorize the repairs, and they will NOT follow their own procedure. You will never get to talk to a manager. I was given five email address and only one worked. Then they said even though they authorized my reapir person, that was a mistake and I have to start the process over. 2 weeks of waiting and no movement for a simple pool repair. Save your money, time, and sanity.
